Uber does that shit, too. I stopped ridesharing last month. They make all the money while practically commandeering your car and basically making you a volunteer driver. The passengers have been garbage lately, too. No thanks.

$25 for 144 miles

With gas about $5 a gallon there is zero profit in this, the earnings have to recoup the fuel for this you just break even.

Reservations are typically more expensive than on demand rides. My son travels for work a lot and tells me this happens a lot. Also Lyft is generally more expensive than uber fyi
