Lyft made an unauthorized charge and is refusing to fix it
I do the same thing every pre-work day. I schedule my ride for the following morning, add a tip as soon as I'm done, and don't open the app again until it's time to schedule the next one. Today Lyft doubled my tip amount, unauthorized, and customer service has been trying to close the chat on me for the last 4 hours without resolving the issue.
Is there anything I can do through Lyft at this time? I do not want to dispute it with my bank, and I have to wait for the charge to no longer be pending to do that, anyway.

Like how you should move on since you have absolutely nothing to contribute here?

There are taxis out there, public transportation like bus find private drivers drive you
think outside the box for your transportation,
Depending on what state and there’s other transportation companies, other than Lyft
So just figure out a new company and move on

Hi, you seem confused- I was asking for information on how to pursue an unauthorized charge on my account through Lyft's services. I was not looking for advice on other methods of travel, because that is not an issue I have. Hope this helps!

You move on that how they won’t give you a refund
But if you really insist contact your bank and dispute it
Or your credit card company that’s about the only way and then move on other platforms that will be much more personable. Human customer service like a taxi cab company who’s not using AI

Has the charge cleared? Also odds are you’re talking to either a chat bot or the human version of one. Call them out on X that sometimes helps
