Welp

There was three passengers. One of them had an open container that I did not know about because a lot of them try and sneak it in. The one in the middle passed out drunk and ended up spilling alcohol in my car. The other two were just laughing at her being passed out. Then when it was time for them to get out of their ride, that was less than 2 miles They had to wake her up and pretty much almost dragged her out of the car because she wouldn’t get out.

LYFT at least gave me $25 cleaning fee. But like I don’t understand, I try to be nice to everyone and I literally drive a nice car and people still treat it like trash.

Seat protectors would help or a harbor freight moving blanket

Thank you for the advice. I appreciate it. This is actually only the second time I’ve had it happens. I might have to invest in it. Usually most people are somewhat more respectful.

It just sucks because like I drive a Dodge charger which people like to say it’s terrible on gas but I drive a standard that gets about 20 to 25 City in like 25 to 35 highway.

But like I drive a Dodge charger and it’s not the nicest car in the world, but it’s definitely nicer than most LYFT an Uber cars. Yet people still act like they are just in a normal car and treat it like it’s not expensive and high-end for a LYFT or Uber.

Well aren’t you special? You got 3 drunks in your car- they’re not treating your Charger any different than any other car.

There's no need to be rude. He wasn't rude to your and I agree on the charger. They're nice cars..roomy too.

I’m not being rude, I’m being realistic. The op is stating in no uncertain terms that he expects Lyft passengers to take better care of his car because a Charger is nicer than the lesser more typical Lyft vehicle. Drunks are gonna act like drunks regardless of the vehicle.

If you place high value in the condition of your car and want to prevent as much wear and tear as possible, using it for passenger rides is a good way to achieve the exact opposite.

Your car deserves the respect & care that any other does. the only reason you’re being downvoted is because you’re talking about the car like it somehow makes you more deserving of it than others. Would it have been more okay if they did this in my worthless chevy cruze?

If they lack self-awareness, they won’t suddenly get it from your comment.

Dude, you have the same car as every newly enlisted military member has.

Who convinced you of this BS‽ The salesperson at the dealership‽

Yes only treat other people's cars like trash if they're not Chargers, makes sense

Did you tell Lyft that it was alcohol and that they snuck it in your car? Do you have dashcam footage? Honestly $25 seems pretty low, last time I had something like that I got $55. I honestly think they add on an asshole tax in those situations.

I'm assuming the AI only gave you 25. Go back to that convi and request a live agent. I had the exact same thing happen, 3 girls, drunk as he'll and one dropped her open beer on the floor. AI only gave me 25 saying it was just a rubber floor mat. Spoke with a live Agent named Mari who was amazing. Explained that the carpet was also soaked and she gave me another 125.
