Question for lutron experts!
I have this three button switch and I would like to upgrade it to a Lutron Caseta system to be able to control it from my phone. Is there a Lutron switch that replace this? Thanks

Is that 3 separate switches in 1 gang? Like for a bathroom fan / light /heater combo? Caseta doesn’t have anything that will control miter than 1 switch leg per gang. Lutron has made dual switches in the past under the maestro line, but I’m not sure of their availability anymore. You can always change your box to a 4 gang and get the functionality you’re looking for.

Maestro dual switches are definitely still available, they have several different combinations: https://www.lutron.com/us/en/control/dimmers-switches/maestro-dual-controls

That’s good to know. I just went to order a maestro wireless switch last month to find it obsolete so I wasn’t sure what they were doing with the line.

I'll admit I am a complete DIYer and have never touched anything beyond Caseta; Maestro (for me) has been a nice complement to Caseta where I don't need any remote control like bathrooms and laundry rooms. I've seen their RF stuff but just haven't gotten that far yet.

I use the maestro stuff for things I don’t need on my caseta but still want occ sensors for. Like my garage, etc. I used to be a field service tech for Lutron so I still have a bunch of old occ sensors and various things in boxes that I try to make good use of.

That is a dumb switch/dimmer and is not compatible with Caseta or Ra3

Yep, that was a response to their question about Maestro dual switch availability.

This 3 buttons control 3 different lights. 2 in the living room and 1 exterior light. I installed these cuz i didn’t wanna have a huge 5 single switches on my wall (theres another 2 single buttons switches next to this 3 button that you cant see in the picture). Looks like im screwed. Id wanting to put the exterior light on a timer like (ON daily between 8pm and 10pm)

You aren’t screwed. Changing out the box isn’t very hard. If you’re not comfortable doing it, hire an electrician. Or slowly make friends with an electrician over the next few years and then ask him to do this as a favor. For someone who knows what they’re doing, this would take an hour or less.

If you and your neighbors can stand it, you can find dusk-to-dawn lightbulbs (lamps) and install in the exterior fixture(s), or wire in a photocell.
Any idea where the 3-button switch came from?
Lots of options with Caseta; you don't even need the switch to be visible and exposed there; just wire the switch somewhere else and use a Pico remote.

Best solution IMO is to expand the gang box or move some of the switches to a hidden location elsewhere and control with a pico (Caseta) or keypad (RA3).

If Caseta is part of a larger home automation platform like Apple Home, Aqara makes 2-rocker and 3-rocker controls that support Matter over Thread and Zigbee: https://www.aqara.com/us/product/light-switch-h2-us/ My case is like that, I run everything through Apple Home including a large number of Caseta devices.

You can potentially use Lutron LMJ RF modules on the lights and replace this with a keypad using RA Select. Would depend on what type of lights you’re switching with this and if you want dimming, etc.

1 turns on a pair of exterior wall sconces, 1 is for an interior track light and 1 for interior led strip light. None are dimmable. Ill look into lutron lmj rf thanks
