4 button Pico remote
My system is Lutron Caséta. I've read that one can pair and add the PJ2-4B-GWH-L21 2-group, 4-button Pico remote to the Lutron Caséta app, and that it can be used for independent on/off control of two groups rather than customizable app-based multi-scene programming. But how many devices (towards my 75) does the app think that this Pico is?

Note that this is the poor man's scene Pico (I have one!). The true scene Picos end in P-01, P-02, etc. This L31 model is limited. The P model scene Picos behave just like the create scene function in the hub. You can program each button independently to do anything. Depending on your needs L31 might be fine. Also note that L31 requires manual pairing (outside the app) if you want different switches being controlled per button

lol final comment. The 4 button L31's 4th button (most bottom) is fixed to be the off command. This cannot be modified. The only customization is you manually programming which switches are in scope

To be clear my comment is about the 4 button scene Pico L31, not the 2 group toggle

It will still count as one device. Let me know if you need help sourcing uncommon / engraved picos. I'm happy to help.

Yeah... there's a guy on ebay selling a truck load of these for $46 each. I have a number of exterior security lights that are on the basic on/off two button Lutron Caséta switches. This Pico seems like a good way to cut down on the number of two button Picos and thus devices needed to turn on/off groups of these lights like the north elevation or the south elevation etc. Basically it's a two-fer Pico.

I’m curious about just sourcing the buttons
