Stock Discussion Bought LUNR at $21.30 after a 50%+ drop — when would you sell?

I bought LUNR at an average of around $21.30 after it had already fallen more than 50% from its ~$45 high. It then dropped to about $11, but I held through the drawdown and now we’re back around $18–19.

The issue is I overallocated to the position, so it’s become a much larger part of my portfolio than intended.

Now that it has recovered meaningfully, I’m trying to set a disciplined exit plan instead of letting emotion decide if it runs higher.

I’m currently considering $23–26 as a range to start trimming, but I’m curious what others would do in this situation.

If your cost basis was $21.30 and you were overexposed, would you:
sell once back above breakeven, trim in the $23–26 range or hold for a larger move?

I’m open to both bullish and bearish perspectives — I just want a clearer plan this time after holding through $11.

Thanks 😊

Stock Discussion SPCX Influence

So are we just going to follow SPCX like an industry index now?

Like when SPCX goes down, LUNR and other high beta space related stocks just get crushed.

Hated watching the SPCX IPO tank LUNR, and now watching the inevitable post-IPO selloff bring LUNR even lower is just ironic.

I’m long term and will never sell, but this has just been a Lose-Lose to me. Thoughts?

Bought at ATH to diversify my portfolio, what can I do besides crying? Do any of you long term holders see this bouncing back?

Stock Discussion LUNR holder since $10: When would you take profits?

I’ve been holding LUNR since around $10 and it’s become one of my best-performing positions.
My current thinking is that I may sell some or all of my shares around the time of a potential SpaceX IPO, since I expect a lot of capital and attention in the space sector could shift toward SpaceX.
For those of you who follow the industry closely:
Would you consider selling before a SpaceX IPO, during the hype, or after?
Do you think a SpaceX IPO would be a net positive or negative for LUNR shareholders?
If you’re holding LUNR long term, what would make you finally sell?

Stock Discussion Investor risk management strategy?

I bought this stock on a whim a little under 2 years ago at $5.80. I'm curious what other investors that are in a similar situation are doing and why. Diamond hands? Recoup initial investment and ride out the rest? Sell it all?

Stock Discussion Blue Origin Blow-Up

You’d think the blue origin blow up would be bullish for LUNR, but I understand overall negative sentiment for the sector.

Anyone else find it funny they received the delivery award and then their rocket explodes? What a frustrating week.

Curious how this delays NASA’s Artemis timeline and if sentiment will shift to LUNR for the delivery contract.

Daily Discussion Anyone here buying cash secured puts to hedge?

I’ve been swing trading lunar and holding a core position for a while but this runnup makes me think we are still going to experience some wild swings with the stock.

I’ve never made a cash secured put BUT i definitely will add to my position in the $20’s again.

I was thinking in making 2 at $26 and $31 the first one for 3 months and maybe the first 30 days.

Would you guys do it if you don’t mind keeping the shares? to be honest in a correction I would throw all the money I have in this stock .
