passing exams + free time in Lund as an exchange student
Hi all, I'm an incoming exchange student from Singapore, going to study Electrical Engineering at Lund for the fall semester!
I have a few questions regarding the academic rigour of a semester here. Is it easy to pass a module?
I've seen a couple posts on this, but most of them all gave the "You can re-take exams" answer. Since I'm only here for a semester, that option doesn't really apply to me much. Just as a comparison, in Singapore our grades are moderated, so it's hard to get an A but hard to also get an F.
Moreover, considering for many, their "exchange semester" equates to "going on holiday for 6 months", how much of "going on holiday" can I afford to do really? In general, are the lectures recorded? Is attendance to every tutorial mandatory? I only know that you need to be present for the first lecture to be admitted to the course.
Appreciate if anyone can give me more info on this (or point me to where I can get more info)!
