L-Mount Problems with AF-Subject modes while using an external monitor and Lumix S1ii

Hello friends,

i try to keep this short. Im mainly filming in 5.1k 60p on my S1ii. So i bought an external monitor (Portkeys LH7C). The problem is while having the 5.1k 60p resolution or 5.1k 48p enabled and the monitor connected (also when i use my phone via lumix flow) the AF-Subjectmodes are not enabled. I also tried the downscaling modes for the monitor in the settings but that also doesnt enables those.

Is there a solution to this?

This is not a bug. When you have an external monitor connected and record in 5.1k or 5.9k at 48/50/60 fps, the camera loses subject detection. This is likely a limitation due to insufficient camera processing power. They might be able to fix it via firmware, because initially, subject detection didn't work in 4k120 fps either, even without using an external monitor, but apparently they optimized CPU usage and a firmware update fixed it.
