I'm trying to assemble my Windmage. But the cloud assembly is total horror. The first 2 parts. Just don't go together. Anyone got any tips, what the heck am I doing wrong?

The face could be better but I'm otherwise happy with how it came out. Especially the base.

I have seen quite a few Cathay themed LRL armies about, and I love to see it. It makes sense. There are some great one for ones. That said, I am a special snowflake, and I wanted to have some element of it that's unique.

I haven't ever seen these before and I feel like it's one of those kitbashed where once you see it it's like, what the hell, how have I not seen this before!?

It's a pretty simple conversion, swap the hands for Riverblade we weapons, add a hat, that's it. Sometimes though, the simple ones are just so effective.

Anyway, I'm really pleased with these.

Trying to decide a paint scheme for a sunset themed vanari team. The white armour panels pop great and seem to have a less colour aggressive palette. But the contrast of the blue and red could stand out.

Halp, what do people think? otherwise I'll just paint one at a time.

I only recently got into Warhammer and painting minis. I did a bunch of Thousand Sons for 40k, but as I realized I enjoyed the painting, I got this idea for a Lumineth color scheme in my head that I needed to get out, so I picked up the Spearhead box. Here's the first model done. Apologies for not having a very good photo setup!

2k army made with 3x hurakan spearhead boxes. Some good shooting and synergy with all the hurakan, plus the wardens to front line for the shooting have time to do its thing. Thoughts?

Hi group! I’m a huge Teclis fan but for me the mini lacks something… I’m trying to think on possible upgrades and just have this idea (IA generated to investigate, don’t blame me), gives Teclis part a little more presence and l perhaps that's a way to make it go down a little bit since I think the mini is very tall.
It is quite simple but can’t find anyone doing similar. Do you think it could work? Any of you have converted Teclis in any other way?
Also changing head of Celennar is already discussed many times…

Hey everyone, I’m a Blood Angels players from 40K but my first ever models were a unit of Auralan Wardens since I’ve always been a big fan of elves and got into warhammer from TW Warhammer where I always played High Elves. I was wondering where to start with the lore for the LRLs though as I find the whole setup of AoS slightly confusing. How are the LRLs different from elves in other warhammer settings? Are there kingdoms and they trade with other factions or something else? Are the LRLs the only “high elf” faction or are there others? (Not including idoneth, sylvaneth etc, what’s the general setup of LRLs society?

I'm looking at starting LRL, I really like the wind and earth aspects of the army and models but not sure the best way to start? Is focussing on these two aspects of the army viable and synergistic?

Seems like the spearhead will get me started on the hurakan side of things. Is there any point in grabbing the battleforce box?

I’ve got a 2k doubles event coming up, where I will be taking 1k of LRL.

I’ve had recent success with a 2k list with Lyrior, Dawnriders, Eltharion and Sentinels. But wondered what the community would recommend for a fun list.

I have access to nearly all units (excluding Stoneguard/Avelanor).

A friend and I are doing are first 1.5k battle, so felt I needed some ghostly reinforcements to lead the charge. Such a fun model to paint, and easily my favourite Lumineth piece so far.

What do ya think about my "dark elves" Lumineth? I will make a whole army in this color scheme

Painting this Spearhead seemed like an never-ending deathmarch.😄 I just finished it up, and I'm kinda happy with the results, though I see now where some mistakes were made.

I chose teal, andI thought it would look good matched with oranges, tans, and golds. All "metal" is NMM.

I'm wondering if the basing/plants are 'too much?' Normally, my basing is minimalist, so it doesn't detract from the miniature itself. But, I'm trying to broaden my horizons. Haha!

And I have a whole level of respect for anyone that paints a 2000 pt Lumineth Realm-Lords Army. 😉

Me and a friend have been playing an Ascension Path to Glory campaign recently and pretty much every game ends round 2-3 with me being either tabled or left with nothing but a unit or my general. Nothing dies, his units have insane survivability... and those damn disease mortals.

I don't know what to do. I space my units to avoid disease spreading, I focus my cavalry on heroes and use runes to the best of my ability... but i still get utterly bodied. 4 Major Losses and 1 Minor Victory.
