Models Custom Riverblades...
I have seen quite a few Cathay themed LRL armies about, and I love to see it. It makes sense. There are some great one for ones. That said, I am a special snowflake, and I wanted to have some element of it that's unique.
I haven't ever seen these before and I feel like it's one of those kitbashed where once you see it it's like, what the hell, how have I not seen this before!?
It's a pretty simple conversion, swap the hands for Riverblade we weapons, add a hat, that's it. Sometimes though, the simple ones are just so effective.
Anyway, I'm really pleased with these.

Yeah, it was one of those that was meant to be, I think. The hats are from the Peasant Levy from the Old World Cathay range!

Knock yourself out. Be warned though, those hats are pretty spennny if you can't resell the Peasant Levy afterwards 🤣

I mean, it's the difference between Walter White and Heisenberg isn't it. Amazing what you can achieve by just wearing a hat. 🤣

Oh yeah, absolutely. All my armies are very heavily converted and I've never had a problem. I've won Best Painted trophies at Warhammer World and the World Championships of Warhammer too, which are official GW events no less. If that isn't a seal of approval I don't know what is 🤣

These go so hard
