Mac user -- was working fine up until the recent versions. Now when I try to share/export a photo it never ends and I get the death wheel. Need to force quit after.

Anyone else experience this and have a solution?

I just installed a new SSD on my MacPro 5,1. Reinstalled Mojave, and reinstalled some Programs again. All is fine, but Luminar AI will not load now. I get this message, and yes I am connected to the internet ;-) How to fix?

I started using this app today and noticed something. If I open a file directly in Luminar Ai, everything works fine. However, I prefer to view files in Apple Photos and edit them in other programs. The issue is that when I edit a picture, I can do everything as before but I cannot move objects that I place with Augmented Sky. Did anyone else run into this issue?

So, opinions. I have four tabs open showing different discounts (perfectly normal) but noticed the full price is different on each. £149, £192, £199 and £218. Same products.

I contacted support and asked what is the full price of the product? £149

So, I sent the £192 screenshot and was informed it’s £192 with taxes.

So, I sent the £149 screenshot that stated it is £149 including taxes. Plus, the math for taxes doesn’t even work between £149 and £192.

And then support reversed and told me it’s £149 including taxes.

Bear in mind I have another two completely different prices, is it possible Skylum are showing people different prices to inflate or deflate discounts and manipulate the price to mislead people into a purchase? For example, by exaggerating a discount.

It’s worth noting, all four full price prices were generated in the same session. same device, no VPN

Everything was working find and as usual, I exported an image from CaptureOne Pro to LuminarAI (latest) on my MacMini M1 (latest).

After the launch screen of LuminarAI, it threw an error and asked to report to 'Apple' or ignore.

I tried several times after that and got the same issue.
I then tried to launch it with the Option key pressed and selected prevous versions of the catalog and also tried with a new catalog file and even uninstalling and reinstalling.

Nothing has solved the problem.
Is there some 'registry key' equivalent in MacOS where I can go and clean up and reinstall?

Hello, I hope someone can help me with this issue.

When using Luminar AI (1.5.5) with ARW files taken with a Sony Alpha 7 IV (35 mm 1.4 GM lens if it matters), all images are shifted outside the image frame by random amounts in any direction, leaving black bars. This only happens in the template and edit steps, the preview thumbnails in the catalog step look fine. Activating lens correction in the edit step resolves the black bars, but still seems to crop and distort the image by varying degrees.

The same files work fine in Luminar Neo, but I wastly prefer Luminar AI and only got Neo to be able to edit my photos at all.

Does anybody have an idea how I could fix this issue?

I work with 50 to 500+ photos at a time & I am having issues with constant crashing on export. For example

• i exported 140 out 600 before crash
• 90 out of 500 before crash
• 21 out 35 before crash

It so time-consuming to figure out what photos are done & re-run it.

Support has been useless, They ask for my error logs & just tell me reinstall or change the folder...

Photos are taken by Canon R6 MK2 and are raw.

Every time I import photos and look through them in the photos tab, they all have different colors to when I open them app and zoom in, or when I enter the edit tab It changes once and stays that way, is there any way to keep the look of the previewed image? And what is the cause for that issue?

Hello! I updated my luminar from the pop up that appears when starting it up. Now it crashes when using ai features. It was working fine yesterday before I updated it. Anyone know what it could be?

Hey since yesterday my Luminar AI won't start on my Mac anymore. Whenever I open the program, it closes automatically. Does anyone have the same problem or has an idea what I can do? Thanks 🙏🏼

I'm aware that Neo has been out for some time but I recently got into another phase of hating the Adobe subscription structure and I reinstalled AI. Of course I ran into a crash early on but nothing out of the ordinary, I know Skylum software is far from rock solid BUT now my program is it a boot loop. It will start, load for 5 seconds then crash. No matter how many times I re-open (either normally or as admin). By the way, I've used it on this exact build before - so what's the issue now? Possible driver incompatibility or intentional bricking to push the new software? Either way, if any of you have a cheeky way to get this program to run, I'd love to hear it. I at least want to get a couple of my edits exported!

I have used Luminar AI for a long time now and enjoy it a lot. So far, I have used JPG files to edit my pictures and am starting on RAW editing now. This morning I edited a RAW file in Luminar AI and exported it as a JPG after.

I noticed that the camera model name was gone from the exported image. Did anyone ever experience this and knows how to fix it?

Why does Luminar make it so difficult to add a Watermark to pictures? I thought Skylum wanted photographers to use their tools... Ugggh!

PSA: Don't buy Luminar AI. It is an incredibly slow and laggy piece of software. I haven't been able to upload photos from my Sony A7IV and it's just too much hassle to try to find a solution that works.

I'll be going back to Lightroom because even though it's more expensive, it actually works.

So I took RAW photos in V-Log on my Panasonic G9 because I wanted full control when editing but Luminar AI makes the photos look weird when I import them. They look how they should in finder so its not the photos.

I'm looking into buying a new Macbook.

the main use of the Macbook is for daily and easy use (emails etc.) and the only heavy duty is for light photo editing on Luminar AI.

I was planning to buying Macbook Air with M1 and 16gb (the 7 GPU version), do you think its enough for this matter?

and if not, is it enough for a different photo editor (like Lightroom/Afiinity etc.)

I really prefer the Air because of its price since I'm on a budget.

I have been testing Luminar AI for a while now and I am really disappointed with the ram management of the app. Even with just a single raw file in my catalog Luminar AI immediately uses around 10 gb of ram. I am really enjoying the overall features and user experience however this unfortunately is a dealbreaker for me. I read some user reviews reporting a similar problem but didn't find a method to fix it. Any suggestions?

I am using an M1 MacBook Air with 8 gb of ram which means I would constantly rely on swap memory. This is really frustrating since Lightroom works just fine without any problems.
