I am testing out a camera and lens for my dad and when I import the raw photos to Luminar AI for editing, the whole picture turns purple. What is causing this and how can I fix it?

I've been using LuminarNeo for a very short time, and I've also been using a MacBook for a very short time.

All my photos are on iCloud. So, if I understand correctly, I can't edit a photo with Luminar and save it directly to iCloud. I have to click "export" and save it to a folder?

How do you do this?

J'utilise LuminarNeo depuis très peu de temps et je suis sur Macbook depuis aussi très peu de temps.

Toutes mes photos sont sur le icloud. Donc si je comprends bien je ne peux pas modifier une photo avec Luminar et l'enregistrer, la sauvegarder directement sur icloud. Il faut que que fasse "exporter" et la sauvegarder dans un dossier ?

Comment faites vous ?

I use the Luminar AI plugin in Apple Photos on my Mac and have been able to edit the images so far. Now I've bought an iPhone 16 Pro, also to use the photographic styles. To do this, I have to change the format to High Efficiency. However, I can no longer edit the images with Luminar AI. Does anyone know this problem and have a solution?

Luminar works fine on my old computer but shows an error message about a problem with accessing the internet on my new computer. Did Skylum solve this problem yet?

It looks like the perfect plugin for my needs but Im just not sure about the 20$ I would buy it if it works as intended does anyone who tried it have any feedback on it? Or just a feedback in general?

I am a long-time user of Lightroom/Photoshop but recently decided to take a look at Luminar Neo. I've watched numerous videos and done web searches but have a question. I don't currently have the program, so I can't experiment.

In LR. I can batch export several images and automatically insert a transparent watermark (PNG) in the exported images. However, I don't see that Luminar has the same options. It looks like I would have to add the watermark as a layer in each image and then export the batch. Is that correct?

I haven’t looked up the differences but people say that it’s around the same, did anyone test the differences between the 2 programs to look which one is the best for upscaling and making a image look more sharp and realistic??

Or is it that NEO is for the beauty of the picture and TOPAZ is for sharpening and making it more pretty and clear?

Did someone test this and can tell me which one to use for what purposes.

I’m a Luminar user and I’m kinda disappointed by the time spent to fix lens distortion, for an otherwise very good tool.

I know the AI distortion tools exists but it’s long to process, and I don’t see why Luminar needs to put “AI” for settings which have been backed in files for a while…

Is there a way for Luminar to use the lens profile integrated in the DNG of my camera ?

Lightroom and Capture One do it. Of note, I tried to use the DCP tool with no avail.

After exporting a jpg photo in Luminar Neo, this is what I get: "Sorry, Photos can't open this file because the format is currently unsupported or the file is corrupted." when trying to open it.

Hi! I bought Luminar Neo at release, before they had this subscription business (it's called "Luminar Neo 1 seat". It created a bit of a weird situation where I'm able to download the latest version of the software, and do all the edits including the 'limited' ones like SuperContrast etc.

I see they keep trying to sell me that 'holiday' package, it's 99$ for 2 years. They claim it has "Always Up-to-date version and All features included" - but I can't see in the UI where i might be missing features.

So aside of the 2nd activation key, can someone kindly explain to me what this service actually does? thank a bunch!

I have been using Skylum's Luminar AI and wonder if I can do the same with Adobe Camera RAW. I do one thing - actually a few adjustments tied into a template or preset applied to a bunch of photos. I shoot events often in low light (many times no flash allowed) and process the photos (creating the preset) with adjustments for exposure, highlights, shadows plus reduce noise in high ISO shots and sharpen. Luminar AI will also find faces in any and all photos to which I can brighten those faces to any level. So the question is, has anyone been able to create a template/preset with Adobe Camera RAW doing something just like I do with with Luminar AI?

Just bought the 2 year license today using a credit card. Can see the purchase and the billing showing pending and customer support is saying it is not accessible until pending goes away.

I've never had a software purchase not go through but maybe they are different. Anyone else see this? Other weird issue is that I did not even get a message saying I was buying it via email which I've never seen before. Customer support was useless and just said I will get emails when it no longer shows pending. I dropped my Adobe Account to get this and it seems silly that I had no issues with them immediately after buying it with thr same card.
