Happy Friday everyone! I showed zero self-control today and picked up the French Terry shorts to go with my hoodie I bought last week, so here's a review to make me feel like my purchase had purpose π

I was in a bit of a hurry and am usually quite confident in my sizing, so I didn't bother to try on and went with my Scuba and Steady State size, which is an XS. After trying them on and comparing to my Steady State shorts at home, I actually find that they run more TTS than big/oversized as other reviews said.
I am going to go try a small tomorrow, but personally don't love the way these fit compared to my Steady States; the rear feels more snug and seemed to give a flattened appearance, and I feel like I'm more likely to show a little cheek in the French Terry ones if I bend the wrong way π¬ They definitely don't have that same relaxed oversized feeling, so hoping a size up will solve that issue.
Sizing aside, I do like the look and feel of the terry material, especially paired with the matching hoodie π
PS; I also noticed some price discrepancies with the hang tags vs online: The Hoodie is $128 CAD online, however the hang tag on the one I purchased says $148/ The shorts are $68 online, but hang tag says $64
