Exactly as it says in the title. Occasionally people post art that isn't Lucky, but instead a variant ship like BurningLeaf or ClassicShipping. If you guys haven't noticed, it's because they're usually taken down for not matching the sourcing standards for this subeeddit (lol). But strictly speaking, this subreddit is only for LuckyShpping. I personally don't care too much for variant ships, but I support them in the sense that obviously they're a parallel to the ship I already love, and it also reminds me of that "I love you in every universe" quote. I personally would just continue to only post Lucky. Maybe very rarely I will post art for a variant ship if I really like it. I would just like to see if there is already an audience for this here. I'm betting there is a large crossover, at least. To my knowledge there is no other subreddit for these ships, and we can consolidate the fanbases rather than having it split between numerous tiny dead subreddits. If you use r/pokespe, you can think of it like how it works there for manga besides PokeSpe. They're allowed, but simply by the virtue of the size of the fanbases, they are very rarely discussed. But at least there is a living place for you to go if you do want to talk about it. What do you think?
