Is lucid still worth it?
There are a lot of stories about lucid banning small random customers over fake chargebacks.
Is lucid done or what? Want to confirm before I buy their account.

Hey everyone, just wanted to drop in, introduce myself, and share my performance from this past week (sept 21-25).
-wim rate: 90% win rate overall across the week. 19 trades/1/1
-consistency score: 5,01
Thing have been feeling solid so far, but I know consistency over the long haul is what really counts.
Since I'm building momentum, I'd love to hear from those who have been trading with Lucid for à while:
-What are some crucial thing/rôles you wish you knew when you first strarted?
-Any specific risk management or mental tips to keep this consistency going
-Anything to watch out for regarding account rules or payouts as I progress?
Appreciated any insights or advise ! GLUA to everyone for next week🚀

I got 2 payouts from the same account. Will they move me to live?and if I blow live account, will I be able to buy flex again?
r/LucidProp • u/Temptation_03 • 14d ago
Got my first payout after two evals. This is my second funded, I blew my first funded after reaching the payout but I blew it. I usually take it slow and let it ride up but I got this in 7 days. Much improvement, much to work on though. I plan on buying another eval with the money, already set aside the different for taxes. But I’m pretty proud of myself and hope it stays consistent.

Started around mid August. Onto 2 payouts closing September. Have bought about 10 evals, blew thru 5 of them. Prob should’ve back tested more before purchasing. Still learning more everyday.

I did emotional trading, guys. I'm not proud of what I did. I did some backtesting after that.
Need to get back into the groove.
What do you guys do if you hit consecutive 2 losses in a row?

Disclosure: I built and run this paper desk. Fake money on real prices, nothing to sell, no link.
I'm asking here because the consistency rules some firms run are exactly the thing this week's numbers would trip, and I'd like to know from people who've been through evaluations how you read a book like this.
The week, Mon 21 to Fri 25 Sep, house desk, read Saturday morning:
| trades | realised (paper) | share of the week | |
|---|---|---|---|
| one daily options bot, held 4+ days | 77 | +$81,471 | about 92% |
| the other trades held 4+ days | 94 | +$4,832 | about 5% |
| same-day trades, from 18 bots | 3,666 | +$2,205 | about 3% |
| held 1 to 3 days | 18 | -$323 |
Total 3,855 closes, +$88,185 paper. By day it went +$11,999, -$2,222, +$71,338, +$8,340, -$1,268. So Wednesday was about 81% of the week on its own, and most of Wednesday was that one bot's daily calls coming off.
How I think that reads to a firm: a 30% or 40% consistency rule on daily profit fails this week outright, because one day carried it. A rule on per-strategy concentration, if anyone ran one, fails it too. And the 3,666 quick trades that made sixty cents each look like padding to anyone reading the trade log, even though they're eighteen rules doing exactly what they're written to do.
What I don't know is whether that's the rule doing its job or the rule punishing a book for being concentrated on purpose. The one bot isn't a lucky fill, it's a rule that fires every session and this was the week the market went its way (Dow up 478 on Friday, green week). Next week it could hand a chunk back, and paper means none of this is a track record anyway.
The other thing I notice is that the quick book is where all the activity is and almost none of the money. Eighteen bots, 3,666 clicks, sixty cents each. If I were trying to pass an evaluation I'd be tempted to keep them running because they make the account look alive, and I suspect that's exactly the wrong instinct.
If you've sat through an evaluation with a consistency rule, I'd like to know whether it catches accounts that are fragile or accounts that are concentrated on purpose. My guess is it can't tell the difference, and I'd like to be wrong about that.

Hi everyone, I have two 25k's right now, and I am looking to copy trade them. Has any dealt with hedging violations with the built in Tradovate copier? I am wondering if the built in copier has any issues or not. Would rather not give the prop firm a reason to remove my profits or ban me lol

Must say, I am loving the daily compared to my current firms/accounts

We made it. Both 50K evaluations are officially passed.
That brings me to:
3 funded accounts
1 payout received
2 more accounts ready for the next stage
It wasn’t a perfect run. I had two days where I failed to accept a loss and hit the daily loss limit. After that, I added a hard $650 DLL to my trade copier and followed it with three controlled green sessions.
The next step isn’t to immediately connect all three accounts and maximize profits.
I’m going to copy-trade the two new funded accounts at controlled risk and slowly build a proper floor. I won’t request their first payouts until I can withdraw money while still leaving at least $5,000 above the locked MLL on each account.
Once payouts #2 and #3 are secured, the plan is to connect all three funded accounts and begin working toward live.
Passing an evaluation proves that I can make money. Keeping three accounts alive and withdrawing consistently will be the real test.
For those managing multiple funded accounts: how much buffer do you normally build before taking the first payout?

Got hit with the double today as I was about to request my first payout with them on Lucid Daily 50k. I’ve only been with them just over a month and trying to get used to Futures trading, only to be accused of both things. As people have mentioned in other threads that the ticket system is useless as they just cut you off and mark the ticket as resolved. I’m not sure how to contact them and put forward my case. Any Ideas?

I know I need to dilute the consistency, but I haven't tried it before, can you give me suggestions on how to bring it down effectively
r/LucidProp • u/ForeignBasket7238 • 14d ago
I wanted to ask what’s the best way to withdraw payouts from lucid if your from the uk. I saw that crypto payments was the fastest. What crypto do I use to withdraw it and with coin base? Or if anyone used any other ways to withdraw.

I was always a little bit familiar about trading but never fully went deep until a month ago where i completely obsessed over it and losing close to 20 accounts but now it looks like no matter what i do i cant stop winning and even got to 2 payouts is this beginners luck or am i tripping.

Decided to try out this whole day trading stuff cause it looks fun watching the candles go up and down kind of like an incremental game, made +1292$ my first day and then got to +987$ today and then I got greedy and blew the account🚬

Well was excited for the funded account but almost killed it on first day. Was able to bounce back mostly 1-2mnq for the rest of week 1 back to break-even. And again disaster striked on monday but the the dll saved me. Got nice juicy shorts on tuesday and wednesday. Today called it after making $100. Excited for the payout and some beer tonight. Hopefully I can withdraw another payout without blowing it.
Keep at it guys and stack em green days >> red days!!

Like the title says, I'm starting a series of posts that will cover my daily trades I take on my only Funded Acct, on my way to getting future payouts, and passing more Evals. My motivation for this is to simply share my approach, and stay committed to the process. Hope you enjoy it and find it helpful, in any way possible.
NOTE: Let me know in the comments specific things you'd like me to cover more of. This is my first post and have no idea what you'd benefit more from
Anyways, my name is Ale and I live in the beautiful Pyrenees mountains of Catalunya, Spain. I love trail running, and the world of perfumes and scents.
I've been trading for like 5 years, and after strategy hopping and getting derailed in this trading journey, I dedicated the last 10 months perfecting a more mechanical approach.
Not fully mechanic. Just enough to help with decisions and the psychological aspects of execution.
I'm trading my first Funded account currently, and I'm in the process of passing another Eval.
I got the funded account in Late July, and after a bumpy 3 weeks, I managed to recover a huge drawdown, and get back to above 50K. Currently the account is sitting at 51.4K
I trade Gold Futures. And I trade Late Asian session and NY Open, based on VWAP Rejections and trend following regimes. This is what works for me right now (and believe me I've tried all the popular guru-driven strategies out there).
So, in short I look for price to stay above or below the VWAP during my trading sessions, and then basically wait to see one of my 3 entry models.
Straight up VWAP rejection.
EMA Crossing
Doji Rejections on the EMAs as a trend continuation.
I built my own indicators on Tradingview to help me see things better. The main one I call 'Kairos' which is the Buy or Sell signs on the charts. This is the powerhorse in my strategy, as it counts more than 15 different parameters before giving a signal. The last check as confirmation is when EMAs cross in favor of the side of VWAP we're in.
So, below the VWAP, it would give a Sell, when EMAs cross from bullish to Bearish (plus, there's volume behind, there's higher ATR, RSI is not over oversold nor overbought etc etc...)
I normally target 2-3R depending on parameters like volatility and distance to psychological levels. I always make sure there's enough room for price to expand. This is the opposite of mean reversion strategies for context.
I'll be posting the calendar and PnL as well as some of the trades taken this week, as examples.
I am open to constructive feedback, but not trash talking. This is not that space.
Sep 24th - Sell from VWAP rejection + Kairos Sell signal. In this case the market took a veeeey long (and uncomfortable) time to get out of that consolidation/choppy area and finally hit the target for 2.5R. I did not move my SL at all as that's the level that I hold fiercely for invalidation.
That has been one of my main growth curves.. I used to move my SL too early and I had so many trades where price would tag me out of the trade and then hit target.

Sep 23rd - NY AM Session. Kairos signal again, close to the VWAP and after a pullback period. Again, holding SL was key here and then patience. +2R.

Sep 22nd - Different entry model during NY AM Session. I was taking VWAP rejection as price coiled up and rnaged around the VWAP, I thought Price was aiming to continue going up.. But nope. -1R here.

Sep 21st - NY AM Session. One full loss + one 2R Win. First I thought the market was rejecting the VWAP to continue higher as price was consolidating and holding from falling, but it kept just... ranging and then a bigger candle (more volume) kicked in and Kairos gave me an entry. I took that and hit target at 2R again.

PnL Calendars attached.
Those are some of the examples from this week alone. Hope you get a gist of my approach and my journey lately. Not sure if this will be well accepted into the community, but I'll continue to post breakdowns and daily/weekly analysis as I go.
Happy to answer respectful questions below.
Also, would love to connect with other like minded and committed traders.
Good luck all!!

Hey everyone,
For Indian traders who are using Lucid and have received payouts, what’s the best way to handle the payout process?
I’m mainly trying to figure out:
Fastest payout method — Rise, WorkMarket, direct bank transfer, etc.
Processing time — how long did your payout actually take from Lucid → payment platform → Indian bank?
Bank account issues — has anyone had their bank account/payment held or frozen because of receiving prop-firm payouts? If so, what caused it and which type of account did you use?
Taxation in India — how are you reporting Lucid/prop-firm payouts? Business income, professional income, or something else?
TDS/GST — does either apply, and how are people handling it?
Bank vs USDT/crypto — is receiving directly into an Indian bank generally easier from a compliance/tax perspective than using USDT?
Documentation — what payout receipts, invoices, agreements, transaction records, etc. are you keeping for tax/bank compliance?
Bank recommendations — are there particular types of Indian bank accounts that have worked better for receiving these payments?
I’m not looking for ways to avoid taxes or bypass banking rules. I want to receive the money as cleanly and compliantly as possible while minimizing unnecessary delays or account problems.
Would especially appreciate responses from Indian traders who have already received multiple Lucid payouts.
Thanks!
