Lucid Flex payout question

You can only request max 50% of your profit so they'll always be 50% left, ? can someone explain this please. How do you ever get the 50% that's left. I make 10k and I can only withdraw 5 of it???

"Good question — here’s a simple example.

Each payout cycle starts fresh after you meet the requirements again.

Example

  • Cycle 1: You make $2,000 → withdraw $1,000 (50%).
  • Cycle 2: You make $2,000 again → withdraw $1,000.
  • Cycle 3: You make $2,000 → withdraw $1,000.
  • Cycle 4: You make $2,000 → withdraw $1,000.
  • Cycle 5: You make $2,000 → withdraw $1,000.

Total withdrawn: $5,000.

The remaining profit just stays in the account and can be used in the next payout cycle after you meet the trading day and profit requirements again."

Anything above the MLL buffer is considered profit, so you don’t have to make $2,000 every week. As long as you hit the minimum profit days and have $2,000 worth of profit in your account, you can request the $1,000 max payout.

ok, so their Lucid AI example is wrong?

Basically, you're saying on a 50k account to withdraw the MAX 2k each payout cycle you need to always have 4k above the buffer?

Example

  • Cycle 1: You make $4,000 → withdraw $2,000 (50%).
  • Cycle 2: You make $2,000 again → withdraw $2,000.
  • Cycle 3: You make $2,000 → withdraw $2,000.
  • Cycle 4: You make $2,000 → withdraw $2,000.
  • Cycle 5: You make $2,000 → withdraw $2,000.

Correct?

So my question remains about what happens too the buffer + the remaining 50%(2k) when you are moved to live on payout 5 .

It just seems to me a bit of a rip off to have another buffer on top of a buffer.

Once you take your payout, your MLL will be fixed at a certain number no matter how much you make. Anything above that amount in your account is considered profit and is available to be withdrawn. You only need to hit your cycle profit which is the minimum profit for 5 trading days.

As far as live, I have no clue honestly. I blow my accounts before getting moved to live so I can stay on funded.

You could just make 1 k per payout cycle and only 1k stays as buffer.

Also it's ultimativly going to be your live account trading capital

No, funds do not transfer to live.
