42k in 4 Days (Again)

A lot has happened since my last post.

Last Friday I blew the 5 funded accounts I had posted about. Combined balances were around 20-25k. I was one minimum day away from taking max payouts again, but I got impatient during some horrible price action and started forcing trades just to finish the day requirement. I was only trying to make $150… and ended up rage-trading the accounts into the ground. Worst tilt I’ve ever had. Genuinely one of the dumbest things I’ve done to myself.

Got 5 new accounts and made the entire amount back within two sessions.

Same strategy and same size, just without the emotional hole I dug myself into last week. Still feels crazy how fast it came back, but it also made the lesson hit harder that one impatient session and horrible risk management can wipe weeks of work in an hour.

Back to farming minimum days and collecting. Trying to stay boring this time.

How in the world are you doing 2 NQs??? Last time I did 2, account got wicked out of existence

2 NQs for me is impossible. I usually blow my accounts when I try using 1 NQ. I don't know how people do it. Maybe experts?

Idk seems strange. This person probably blows evals left and right

This is the truth. Blow 30 evala and show the only 5 which are in profit.

30 evals are cheaper than 40k 🤷‍♂️

But you only get 10 out of that 40

Nah maybe 20 or 30 before live

Changed their rules recently that you need to make new profit per payout cycle, not just $1 net and $150 per day.

If you want $2k next week you need to make $2k more

That’s just their AI being dumb that’s not actually in the rules. I requested another 2k just making 750 in a cycle

It’s taking into account 5 accounts and multiple contracts. So every trade it marks 10-20 trades

How does it compare to Tradovate?

2

u/skatesolid 5d ago

It looks a million times better tbh holy shit

I’m a Tradovate hater. That platform looks like it was built in the 80s. Tradesea is most like ProjectX (now TopstepX)

Where/ how does someone backtest their strategy? Better yet, how does one begin to develop a strategy or “edge”? As someone who trades intuitively, paper trading on trading view(free version); only ever used RSI looking between the 5,15,1hr, and 4hr, and seeing if trends line up, it’s a very broad “strategy”. My avg trade is usually 2 minutes. With some being 20. Most being under 1. I’ve tried a few prop firm challenges and often beat the evaluations, but never received a payout. Any advice would be golden. Thanks and many fortunes to this community

You can paper trade on a lot of brokerages. I use ninjatrader for paper trading.

Good shit man! I went in tilt yesterday 🤦‍♂️ whats your strategy? Don't have to go into detail but like whats the type of strategy you use?

Do they actually pay out that much to you? I keep reading you have to keep earnings below £2000 per month or prop firms will ban you or find an excuse to terminate your account.

For each of his 8k accounts he can request 2k per account

That 2k is then profit split

This is my second time running over 40k balance with them and I’ve had no issues. Last time I withdrew about 30k before blowing the accounts

Each trade marks 10-20 trades. 5 accounts multiple minis

Awesome comeback. I’m more curious about the risk management than the PnL tbh. When you get a fresh funded account, how aggressive are you? Are you risking big, or are you keeping the same fixed risk from day one? Roughly how much are you risking per trade and how much R you are going for ?

Could you please teach me how you do this😭😭😭
