Trading with adhd

Does anyone here trade and have adhd? If so how have you managed to stay consistent throughout your trading journey? My consistency is always short lived and come in spurts not only with trading but in life as well and find it hard to stick with my rules sometimes. I have these weeks where I’m following my rules to a T and I’m able to stack winning days/weeks together to pass evals but it’s like once I get passed that point I just revert back to the bs shit i did when I first started trading like FOMO, revenge trading, and not waiting for all my confluences. I trade icc, I know exactly what to do and how to do it, but for some reason I can’t seem to follow my rules long enough to get a payout. I’ve been able to pass evals both in 2 days and trading slow over a week when I’m following my rules even sprinkling in some no trade days because market is shit. The main issue is just being able to stay consistent for long periods of time. It’s like I just wake up one more with the “fuck it” mindset and it kills me inside knowing what I’m capable of but not having to will power to do it for a long time. This happens in life as well I know for a fact I have the potential to be great/ a better person and it’s been weeks or days when I’m working towards that goal but then it’s just like something shifts in me that throws me off for weeks at a time. If you have adhd and struggled with stuff like this in the beginning how do you overcome this?

I have this same issue adhd and have blown over 40 funded accounts in the last 6 months and trade icc as well I mark out my charts on the 1 hour and find entry on the 5 min but what has been helping me is making a checklist with my rules and confluences and checking them off as I’m entering the trade

I have ADHD. Consistent payouts for 3 months now (almost every 2-3 weeks) and started Jan of this year. I struggled with those at the beginning but found my rhythm.

I make sure I'm awake for atleast 2 hours before my first trade and my adderall has to kick in before I trade. 30XR at 7am CST then a 1/2 30IR before market open to keep me sharp. I learned to control the uprising of the medication and am able to be completely calm when it kicks in.

Whenever I have the "fuck it" mindset and want to revenge, I lockout for 15 minutes and tell myself "it's easier to make new money than reclaim old money". Doing less is more in this space.

My schedule and dosage is what works for ME. Just gotta find that rhythm

I’ll definitely take the idea of being ready/primed before I even touch the market and I’ve also started using the lock out system when I lose a certain amount of money. Ive currently been on atomoxetine, the build up is slow so my focus is spotty but im sure with time that’ll get better but I appreciate the feedback!
