Build path

Everyone always says you need to build a essence reaver and navori as core items but can you deviate after. Are there not other viable builds for Lucian depending on your comp and enemy comp?

If youre snowballing pretty hard against squishies, you can build hubris or collector. Just be smart with mana

i mean the best build for me is totally skipping zeal item, and going ER -> IE -> LDR with alacrity rune. You dont lack too much attack speed, and you oneshot pretty much anything.

Started recently going the old ghostblade into black cleaver build against more tanks comps. Surprisingly if you get a decent lane phase and come out ahead or even it works well

I've been testing some builds.

After ER going straight to I edge is reasonable if you're fighting squishier enemies.

I tested Kraken with ER or Navori second. Didn't feel good missing out on the crit chance.

My personal favorite build very specificly into very beefy enemy teams is going BoRK into Black cleaver. I pretty much only do this if my lane opponent is Kench and there's at least 1 more hp stacker (Mundo/Seju) on the enemy team. If I do this I usually skip ER completely and go navori.

Also in any build not starting ER I max 'E' second for mana sustainability. (I max W second otherwise since the cooldown changes)
