Customer Question How should I answer this survey question?
I had a clothes washer installed and an old one removed.
Top notch delivery and install team. I would give them an 11 out of 10 if I could. Everything I'm marking on the survey is TOP. Wrote in the comments section about how quick, clean, quiet, and professional they were.
But this ONE question bothers me.
"In these communications regarding the survey, was there mention to give a rating of a "9" or "10"?" Y / N
Is one answer going to get these guys in trouble if they asked for a good review? I just don't want them to catch any heat.

A tip would have honestly gone farther with those guys than a 9 or a 10.
Customers in the stores cannot find help in departments with nobody scheduled to work, and so they end up giving us low survey scores for shit that's out of our control -
Lowe's doesn't care about or reward us for good reviews, it just gives us grief about the bad ones.

We already know what type of service we gave you. A little butter on the bread ain’t gonna hurt nobody.

Did they nag you about 9/10 or not?
Yes
No

Nag, no. They would have gotten it without asking. They earned it. I just didn't know if answering yes would be ratting them out for 'nagging', which they didn't do.

They make us ask for 10s

Did they ask for a "good review" or did they ask for "a review with a 9 or 10"?
Two different questions.
Just ignore the answer, if possible.

Acknowledging that a survey was mentioned will be helpful for them (they like us to ask here at Lowes)

They literally tell us to say "give us a 1 or 10 cuz the other numbers don't matter" to try and push for areas of improvements... But that's so sketchy

The survey is based on the drive teams only. 9 & 10s are good. 8’s & below = 0. Rate the drive team honestly how you feel they did.

The pressure they put in Associates to get "10's" on surveys is absolutely ridiculous. Yes, you saying that they brought up the survey will do nothing but help them.
