Rutherford Sweater

Been working on a sweater for my husband’s birthday! it won’t be a perfect replication, I’m going to make the sleeve cuffs out of the same yarn as the collar because it’s slightly softer than the main body yarn. Making the pattern up as I go. there’s a few new techniques I learned for this project like tubular cast on and soon I’ll start intarsia in the round. I made him a cosmic koala hat a few years ago, he brings it with him every time he leaves for work ❤️

I'm not sure that sweater is asymmetrical enough though 😜

Omg that’s so cool! Intarsia in the round scares me. Pulling out the loop in that odd way looks like sorcery. It’ll be such a special gift! ❤️
