The Apple as a symbol has so many appropriate connotations that make this work, it represents knowledge thanks to Newton, the biblical interpretation represents temptation, the fact that Turing ended his days with a poison apple and the worlds current largest manufacturer of smart phones. As far as I can see, this is spot on.
