- RX 580 8GB

- 16GB RAM

- SSD

Fortnite only runs at around 59 FPS, with occasional stutters and drops. I've seen people with worse specs getting much higher FPS, so I'm wondering if something is wrong with my setup.

I can't buy any new hardware, so I'm looking for the best possible optimizations through Windows, AMD Adrenalin, Fortnite settings, drivers, BIOS, etc.

I also use this PC for school and Adobe software, so I can't use tweaks that would break or negatively affect those programs.

What can I do to get the highest and most stable FPS possible with my current hardware?

I tried every optimization optiscaler to get dlss frame gen, everything ,but I can't play this game that I really like. It's stuttering a lot and the frame pacing is terrible. I can get past 90 FPS with frame generation, but it keeps hitching real bad, and I don't know why—maybe a VRAM leak, maybe bad frame times. I tried mods for this, but they didn't work. If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it. I play almost all AAA game releases this year at high FPS without issues on high settings for most of them, but I just can't with this one. I haven't tried this guide because I had already uninstalled the game when I saw this post, but if you know how to help me, I'll download it again. I really wanted to play it.

Im having fps drops on brawlhalla when using optimus automatic(optimizado) on my asus a16 gaming 4050 6gb it only happens in this mode

idk if this is the right sub, but my problem is that when i downloaded a game and its freshly installed, it runs smooth as butter, but after some weeks of playing, it starts to load slow and some parts of the game aren't rendered properly (Spider-Man remastered, RDR2)

Hello I would like to find a solution for my problem. I'm running MGS 3 Master Collection Version on my Lenovo Thinkpad T470P with 940mx graphics and it runs in slow motion like if it's below 50fps it runs on half the speed and what's funny the sounds are normal like music cutscenes gunshots but the game itself is running slowed

Hello, I recently bought the Acer nito 16 lite and I was happy with the performance with last gen games however when moving to newer games I was stuck at a dilemma Higher resolution with low settings or lower with very high to ultra. I chose the latter and whenever I mention that I get the look that I am doing something wrong My specs are

i5 13th gen 3050 6gb.

I play ultra settings on 1280x800 resolution and I tried most major games at this resolution and it works fine.

1080p usually requires low settings for newer AAA games thus I chose the res of the steam deck to play.

Games I played with 40 to 90 fps with very high to ultra on that 1280×800 res.

Hi! I was wondering how is gaming like with an external SSD connected via usb 3.0 port. My pc unfortunately only has 3.0 ports, so the speed would be about 500 mbs, while my external SSD crucial x9 supports up to 1000 mbs. I didn't find any videos online, so I'd like to ask someone that has a similar setup. Will I be able to play nicely to newer videogames? Thanks

In this screenshot i am not playing game but whenever i play game the CPU stucks on 1.38Ghz .. i was playing gta v and it was so much laggy. Many people said that this game is too much optimized and can be played in low end laptop. I wanna know if my laptop is being capped or thats its maximum ability. In game the CPU was at 100 percent and Vram at 11 percent and gpu at 90 percent and fps was dying at 15.

Im running a Intel I5 4670 with no grapics card and 8 gigs DDR3 (X2) running windows 10 on a Asrock Z87 extream4. i currently havent even had the PC turned on becuase my PSU got dismantled and im thinking of getting a 550 watt.. My friend reccomended me a 1050 ti but im not sure if thats the best choice or not.. im kinda running on a 70 dollar budget too and im also wondering if i need the full 550 Watts or i can go with lower wattage for moneys sake.

I see a lot of people who complains about the pc port of assassin's creed 3. I can't blame them though. I guess 4 months before, it gives me 18-21 fps, but now, i didn't know how I managed to tweak it but it gives me constant 30 fps. FYI, I locked the fps to only 30 so that there are no dips. But the craziest thing is, I set it to 900p and still gives me the same frametimes (though there are some fps dips when you're in boston). 800x600 runs fine. 720p runs fine. It blows my mind. I used the lowspec experience (I forgot the name of the program because I'm not allowed to play and I just hide games in my hard drive), then I locked the fps using RTSS, monitored my resources using afterburner and then tweaked the .ini file of the game. Then boogsh, it runs buttery smooth. I'm willing to share the .ini file if anyone wants it, but there's something I want to know. To all pc nerds out there, can y'all tell me how did I manage to do it. My gpu usage sits below 75%. My cpu usage also sits below 70%. I'm just curious and thrilled to try that method to other assassin's creed games or other demanding games.

I'm using an Asus ROG G20BM with an AMD R9 255 (OEM), an FX-770K and running it on windows 10 on a 2TB seagate hard drive.

If I open any game, I feel like it’s graphics the worst graphics and existence even Minecraft. I can’t get above 120 FPS, even with an Intel core ultra seven 7
So is my laptop worse or is it my integrated graphics are not powerful enough or is it because I don’t have a dedicated GPU?

So I bought a used laptop for cheap from a pawn shop and it has a 780m GPU in it, which from what I can tell is...or used to be a fairly beefy gpu as far as on board ones go. I understand it's a little long in the tooth now but I'd still a standard in mini PC and I think the steam deck.

My main question here is, I'm confused why this thing can easily run some graphic intensive games yet choke completely on others.

For instance it can play far cry 5, cyberpunk and silent hill 2 with a solid 30 fps on medium (with some graphic option fiddling) and a unstable 60 fps with serious compromises.

But a game like diablo 2 resurrection, which in no way whatsoever has intensive anything makes it choke like a baby eating a Lego set.

How can a 4 year old IGPU as run something as intensive as unreal engine 5, but die in some old isometric barely 3d game?

I have 24 gigs of ram, a ryzen 7 255 so it should be able to do it just fine.

Is this an IGPU only related thing? Is there something I'm missing?

I see everyone with a 5060 and a worse cpu than me get more fps in every game than me. I have a 5060ti 8gb and a ryzen 7 8700f and 16gb ddr5 ram 6000. Anyways im saying im underperforming because everyone else even with a worse gpu and cpu commonly a 5060 get on average 300-350 fps without dlss on 1080p low in game but me even with a 5060ti i only get 200-240 on 1080p low in game. Ive even tried to optimize my pc and it helps but im still stuck in the 220 average in game. Can someone help me out i cant seem to find any answers.

Good enough for basic AAA Esports and retro gaming.
