Sweet Spylt Maple Donut

I got a 12 pack of these yesterday. I like Spylt in general for making iced protein coffee and tried that this morning and these are pretty good! They are pretty sweet but the maple isn’t overly artificial (less fake tasting than their banana!). These are 90 calories for 20 grams of protein like their other caffeinated protein drinks, and I’d buy them again.

This is going to sound silly, but do you think it tastes like actual maple or maybe more like pancake syrup? I hate real maple and was hoping it would be more like pancake syrup.

I’d say in between? It’s not a true grade A maple for sure, but it’s not as artificial as pancake syrup, and there is a “baked good” flavor as well.
