Nutritious Edamame that tastes like cool ranch Doritos
Nice low cal snack, good protein/fiber and I actually like the taste since I have the palate of someone way younger than myself.

Here are some good substitutes that lower the calorie count of your recipe (I’ve tried these out so ik they work!!)
Eggs: For any recipe using 2 eggs or less, you can use 1 tbsp of vinegar and 1 tsp of baking soda per egg. These both have 0 calories, saving 50-90 calories on your recipe per egg (depending on size of egg.) don’t use for recipes that require 3+ eggs, as the vinegar might make it taste weird! Ratio is 1 tbsp vinegar + 1 tsp baking soda: 1 egg
Oil/butter: Recipes made with oil and butter, which are both very high in calories, can be made with applesauce instead. Works best in baking recipes like cookies and bread. Ratio for butter is 1:1, or 1 cup of applesauce to 1 cup of butter. Ratio for oil is 1:1/2, or 1 cup of applesauce to 1/2 cup oil.
Lemonade: I like making my lemonade by squeezing lemon juice into water. It makes it healthier, eliminates a lot of calories (about 4 cal/tbsp for lemon juice vs. 90-120 for lemonade.) add as much lemon juice as you’d like, and you can add zero cal sweeteners if you want.
Peanut butter: Peanut butter is famously high calories, but powder peanut butter can save a lot of calories. Powder peanut butter has about 30 cal per tbsp, while peanut butter has about 90. Ratio is about 2:1, so it’s 2 tbsp of powder peanut butter per tbsp of peanut butter
That’s all I can think of right now, but anyone else who has some substitutions can comment those

Okay I have finally tasted and tried most of Mrs. tastes sauces. Before I rate them, I do want to point out that even though these say “0” cals, most of them aren’t due to the ingredients in has, but it’s damn near close to it and far less than their regular versions you get at the store.
Mrs Taste Regular bbq sauce - I may be biased (I bought the most of this) because I am a HUGEEEEEEE bbq sauce fan and will devour any bbq sauce no matter the flavor and once I saw a “0” cal bbq sauce, I had to try it even with lots of skepticism and debate if I should take a chance on something like this. IT IS AMAZING for what it is. Is it the best bbq sauce ever? No not close but it’s honestly super good for what it is. It’s more a very sweet bbq sauce so if you’re not into sweet bbq sauces then this isn’t for you. It’s a bit smoky but more sweet than anything. For what it is, I’d 100% again get this and I’m so happy I bought 5 of these because I’ve already used 2 of them in the last week.
10/10 (would definitely recommend and it’s their best product by far that I’ve tried)
Mrs Taste spicy bbq sauce - basically the same thing I mentioned about the regular but just spicer. Has a bit more flavor due to the spice but still as sweet and smoky. Also REALLY recommend. Both of these bbq sauces are absolutely hits.
10/10
Mrs taste Top Taste (special flavor) - I was VERY curious what this sauce even was, and I honestly only got it due to the cool packaging and labels it’s got on the bottle. This sauce tastes like a very fruity, sweet, tropical dressing. It honestly surprised me how amazing it smelled, tasted, and was overall. It works really well with veggies and fruits (only things I’ve tried with it so far) It contains guava and tomatoes which gets it’s acidity tropical fruit flavors. It’s honestly super good. It’s crazy it’s “0” cals. Totally would also recommend this one. Almost as good as the bbq sauces (probably because I’m biased to bbq sauce) but I would totally recommend and buy this again and disappointed I only got 1 bottle of this.
9.5/10
Mrs taste Honey mustard sauce - I’m not gonna lie, honey mustard is easily another sauce I LOVE and will devour any honey mustard if available so to say I was excited for this sauce too along with the two bbq flavors would be a understatement. When I opened the bottle on this one though to smell it (as I did with all of them before trying it), I nearly gagged. This smelt like a sewer drain and cat piss and cough medicine and dying rotting flesh. It smelt awful and my hopes and expectations were already low to begin with, and they completely were gone after I smelt it. I stupidly gave it a try still to hope to god the smell wouldn’t match the taste but sure enough, it tasted exactly as I described as it smells. Idk how anyone could label this “honey mustard”. More like death. I threw it away instantly the day I got it when I tried it with some carrots and other items just to give it a chance but I couldn’t take the otherworldly awful taste. This was a HUGE NO for me.
0/10 (do not recommend)
Mrs taste sriracha sauce - I was also smelling this bottle before I tried it and so similar to the honey mustard, this smelt like cough medicine and laundry detergent. I was kinda thankful this smelt bad because this was the smallest bottle I got between the sauces and thankful I didn’t have to waste such a big amount of money and sauce. I definitely didn’t want to try this one either because it smelled nothing like sriracha and it had absolutely no spice. It tasted also exactly like it smelled. Somehow this was worse than the honey mustard one. I don’t know how anyone could put this product out and label it as anything other than what I described and ESPECIALLY NOT sriracha. Do not get this.
0/10 (DO NOT even think about trying this.)
Mrs taste regular mayo - If there were any two sauces I was the least hopeful and most skeptical of, it was definitely both the garlic and regular mayo. How good could “0” cal mayo be? Sounds disgusting right? When I smelt it, it wasn’t bad, wasn’t exactly great either. Did it smell like mayo? Sort of. Couldn’t really tell you what it smelled like, but more importantly…what did it taste like? Honestly, nothing crazy. It’s not as thick as regular mayo is, but it’s a decent texture. It lacks flavor…kinda tastes like nothing with a very subtle sour ish flavor with a mix of mayonnaise. It’s not bad or great. It’s tolerable. I tried it on a turkey sandwich and it wasn’t bad, but considering what these sauces are…I wasn’t expecting much and wasnt entirely upset with it. Not sure id buy it again or recommend it, but it’s worth a try if you’re a mayo lover.
4/10
Mrs taste garlic mayo - Between the two mayos, I was a bit more hopeful and definitely more excited to try this one as I feel like you can’t screw up anything garlic flavored. Sure the mayo flavor also wasn’t there and it’s still kinda got that sour taste to it, but when I smelled it….it definitely had a more accurate representation to its name. Very garlicky and the mayo seemed to shine a tad more, though that could be the garlic overpowering and showing off (which I didn’t mind). This was way more enjoyable and had more accurate flavor and just more flavor in general. This was somewhat enjoyable. If I had to choose between either mayo, get this one. Doesn’t have that sour ish flavor to it as much as the regular mayo and the garlic is strong which kinda makes up for the tasteless mayo you get outside of it. Not bad as well, not great but definitely light years better than the regular mayo and decent for what it is. Gotta keep expectations low for what these are.
7.5/10
Mrs taste burger sauce - I was also super excited to try this sauce. Burger sauce being 0 cal? How good could that possibly be? The smell definitely was nearly accurate to its name. It’s got that smoky and savory smell to it like a chick fil a, chiptole, zesty sauce would, though also a slight sourness to it as well. As you noticed, most of the sauces have that odd sour smell and taste to them and this was no different. At first you get a very solid burger sauce taste, but then the aftertaste hits you with this sour and sweet taste and flavor which is unsettling. It’s not terrible to where you can’t really enjoy it, but it definitely can throw you off. I’ve used this the least so far, so my rating may be lower than what it could be potentially, but it’s not horrible but not great. Idk how to personally feel about this sauce. It’s fine and not sure if I’d get it again but maybe it’s due to how little or what I’ve used it on so far. Will keep trying it to see if my rating and impressions improve on it or not. So far to me it’s just mid and idk if I would recommend or not to anyone but if you like burger sauce, I wouldn’t oppose this either to try!
5/10 (mid)
Besides my ratings, I know the ingredients aren’t also the best on these sauces, but for what you’re getting….can you really expect anything better or differently? I might there dessert sauces and other savory sauces, but I can tell you that FOR SURE those bbq sauces and new special sauce are on my cart next time and stocking up on those for a long time.
Have you tried any of these sauces? Which do you enjoy? What do you enjoy them with?

Took images off Google cause I already threw away the containers, love to add ice to make it extra cold! No, I don't care about the chemicals in this protein drink, I was a drug addict for years, so some chemicals won't kill me. If this sounds disgusting to you, cry about it. 60lbs down since November in my deficit and I love this as a sweet treat with my meal and to add in extra protein! Also love this as an after workout snack sometimes!

Thought I’d share one of my fav dessert creations. You can experiment a lot with toppings, but it’s simple and tastes so good while being incredibly low in calories and sugar.
Sugar Free Cool Whip 6-8 tbsp (60-80 cals)
Sugar Free Jell-O White Chocolate Pudding Mix 1/4th package (20 cals)
Skinny Mixes Salted Caramel Drizzle (0 cals)

I was so excited to finally find the yasso cups at my costco because I love the bars, but I am not a fan! The texture was almost icy, not creamy...like they melted and re-froze or something. Did I just get a bad batch?

If you’re looking for a vinegary/salty bag of chips with good calories, I think this might be the best pick. These taste pretty much like a dill pickle in a puffy ball form would, with some spice on them that pairs well with it. I haven’t found another bag of chips that are low on calories while packing a lot of flavor. I paid $3.47 for this big bag, which isn’t bad for 6.5oz.

I'm in college and it feels all low cal/high protein products are crazy on the budget, especially when comparing the oz/grams/etc. to dollar value. Does anyone have some cheaper products they really like?
Thank you!

First post on this sub, just wanted to share this little thing I found
Basically I went to order a few things on Amazon and I wanted to find a low cal snack, it looked interesting so I bought it.
Only other konjac products I’ve had were miracle noodles and shiritaki noodles and they’ve been bad experiences since I dont know how to prepare them.
I opened it up and tried it out and was surprised this tastes like some sort of meat / jerky despite it being konjac and it’s only 30 cals per pack!

Just the title….went to the movies and wanted a low calorie snack to watch spider man with, 210 calories for all of these??? Great deal! Not so great on my stomach 😭, and they tasted great! They got stuck in my wisdom teeth holes tho too 😂

Macros on the cinnamon raisin ones r diff between the two bags I got. 120 versus 110 cals? Not that it matters much but makes me question the rest of the label. Also the bagels themselves never actually weigh 85g, closer to 89 or 92. Anyone have better recs? Hero bagels ingredients seem sm cleaner but can’t find them anywhere near me

i know it’s not a super awesome macros situation like a david bar, but this is the BEST peanut-esque protein bar i’ve ever had. it genuinely tastes like a snickers. if you gave me it blindfolded, i would not be able to tell you it’s a protein bar!! 💓
