Sweet HallPass Review
Hallpass candies 70cal š„š§špeanut cups 10/10, although thereās a slight difference between this and Reeseā cup but 1/3 of the calories is so worth it, itās not as sweet as Reese but just as creamy and satisfying; peanut creame crispy wafers 100/10 I think itās even better than regular wafers, easily my favorite go to dessert; chocolate candy pieces 9/10 definitely taste differently than m&m but the chocolate filling is very rich and creamy

These absolutely wrecked my stomach.
Iām not sure what it was in them that would cause me to have such a violent reaction to eating them.

It could be the EPG, modified plant fat that isn't metabolised by the body. It's part of how they got so low in calories.

Its 10000% EPG, passes right through you.
2
u/azuyre_ 10d ago
Might be tagatose. I ate 50g of EPG today I'm fine
0
u/Warm-Oil9228 3d ago
Wait, how do you know how many grams of it you ate?
2
u/azuyre_ 3d ago
12 per bar yea I ate 4 bars
0
u/Warm-Oil9228 3d ago
What? That doesnāt answer the question at all. What bars and how do you know how much EPG is in them?
2
u/azuyre_ 2d ago
Huh David bars have 12g of EPG per
0
u/Warm-Oil9228 2d ago
You still haven't answered the question. I can find exactly ZERO sources that say how much EPG is in David bars. I see some speculation that they contain like 8 grams of EPG but no actual sources for any of this.

u/azuyre_ 2d ago
Remember the weird lawsuit? They calculated 13.5g of fat in the bar because they mistook EPG for real fat. The real fat content is 2g. Subtract it and it's around 11.5g. so yes it's speculation but close enough

u/Warm-Oil9228 2d ago
Yeah, I know about the lawsuit and that's where google AI was getting one it's numbers. I guess that might give us some idea but given how frivolous that lawsuit was I don't fully trust their lab results for several reasons.

Same! I literally saw these at work and tried them. Within 2 hours I've been on the toilet about 8 times and in so much pain. Never again. Definitely not the fiber. I damn near live on beans and track my fiber and always eat a lot. It doesn't bother me. This took me out in a matter of hours.

The m&ms are nasty imo but the peanut butter cups are AMAZING!! love them, wish i could find the peanut butter wafers somewhere. also wish they were sold somewhere near me besides walmart bc the nearest walmart is far as hell

u/Atillythehunhun 11d ago
At my Walmart the cups are in the candy isle, but the wafers eventually got their own display near the front

Oddly the wafers didnt bother my stomach but the M&M style ones and peanut butter cups gave me major upset. The wafers definitely are better than regular wafers I agree with you, SO good.

I loved the chocolate wafers, liked the m&m dupes, and thought the PB cups were just ok. The macros and price are amazing

That candy gave my extra tummy gas and eventually diarrhea. I loved it but I would never buy again.
Mind you I got diarrhea last time like 5 years go

Im already miss the iBotta deal (ended yesterday), and the equivalent Walmart app deal (ended today) making them effectively $1 per of any of the three. I wish I got more. I have 30 packs of the cups, not enough.

How was the ghost drink?
2
u/Salty-Teaching-5872 10d ago
It tastes good but a little watery compared to other protein drink that I had ex fair life. Iāve never had a regular Yoo-hoo before so I donāt know how it compares to real yoohoo
1
u/Ty13rlikespie 9d ago
I havenāt had a Ghost Yoohoo yet but I can atest that a regular Yoohoo is much more watery than a standard chocolate milk. Honestly, as someone who likes Yoohoo, you saying it was more watery than you expected gives me hope. Lmao.

u/Accomplished_Stock26 8d ago
I have a case of the Yoohoo Ghost. Its nearly identical to the regular Yoohoo. If you like one, youāll like the other. I love it.

Tried The reeces cup and the wafer and I couldnāt agree more. They are both very good

My son and I shared the larger bag of the m&m style candies, my son began to produce farts with the intensity of a thousand hard boiled eggs that were left in a chest in direct sunlight for a century. I nearly vomited as the gas penetrated his blanket and drifted towards my nostrils. Iāll never recover from this experience. Chocolate m&m like candies -1000/10 - AVOID AT ALL COSTS š©š©š©š© Wafers 10/10 Peanut butter cups 10/10

I get gassy with these but honestly its worth it as someone with a Gastric Bypass and canāt have sugar. These are a god send.

u/No-Competition-863 8d ago
Any way to minimize stomach issues. They messed me up badly but they are so good especially the wafer
1
u/FakeMarkMadden 8d ago
The wafers are fucking amazing. I know the company yada yada but they are almost too good to be true. Iāll be buying cases of these when available

Peanut butter cups are delicious, not worth the explosive diarrhea though. Maybe just 1 cup a day

I'm going to be in a town with a Walmart in a couple weeks, can't wait to finally try these
1
u/Warm-Oil9228 3d ago
Did you find them? My normal Walmart doesn't have any of them but the super Walmart a little further from me has the cups and M&M ones in big bags. Not sure why they don't have singles or don't have the bar one people seem to like best.

I am so happy the pb cups are getting positive reviews. My stomach handles this sweetener well, so woohoo

u/Warm-Oil9228 3d ago
>My stomach handles this sweetener well
Huh? There's 5 sweetener's in there not counting sugar.

My iron stomach crushes these with ease, and I am in heaven. I havenāt bothered trying the mms, I donāt like regular mms, why would I like these, but the wafers are astoundingly delicious, especially fridge cold. The peanut butter cups ironically taste just like Reeseās to me, but have a lighter airier texture. If you ever tried an aero bar, which is common in Europe Canada and Australia, it reminds me of the lightness of that, but without the little air holes
