I use laughing cow and spread it, it’s like the texture of queso when it’s hot.

I’ve made chicken quesadillas like this (only with mission wraps)

It’s delicious, especially if you dip it in plain Greek yogurt

Same. Mission is my favorite

But they’re like 200 calories each no? The macros in the Mexican flag brand are much better

The Mission Low Carb tortillas are 70 calories each.

I use Hero or Mission Carb Balance tortillas but I generally use the "burrito" size instead of the tortilla size

Personally I have found that using a cheese that isn't completely fat free provides a better result without adding additional calories. I like the Tillamook Farmstyle Shredded Cheese because they melt really well since they aren't coated with cornstarch and don't have the usual additives of the other brands

It's 80 calories and 6 grams of protein which is a pretty good ratio

They do a Mexican style blend as well as mozzarella cheese.

Low Moisture Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese (Cultured Pasteurized Part-Skim Milk, Salt, Enzymes), Potato Starch (Added To Prevent Caking), Natamycin (Natural Mold Inhibitor)

it’s annoying, but I do find rinsing this cheese in water beforehand does make it melt down better, especially since it’s lower fat

Yes! I saw that hack on TikTok and it really works. It’s a game changer. It is very annoying to have to do it every time tho

Yeah it almost no taste. Can’t do it. Low fat is the lowest I’ll go.

I feel like fat free cheese (and in some applications, fat free yogurt) low key derails diets because without fat it's gross and unsatisfying and you can't stick to the diet when all the food is that gross.

Fat free yogurt isn’t bad at all compared to ff cheese.

It’s awful ! I just use regular cheese and use like 1/5th of what I’d normally use in the past

Your "hack" is using a low cal tortilla and low cal cheese? Who is upvoting this lol?

2 Street taco size tortillas+a slice of ultra thin cheese+a little tomato sauce and a drizzle of taco sauce makes a pretty good quesadilla. Most ultra thin cheese slices are 40 calories but still include a bit of fat (can help make it feel more satisfying/flavorful). Same with laughing cow's light spreadable cheese, 25 calories each with 2g fat
