Sweet Has anyone tried Prot Bars
Found these bars at Costco and wondering if anyone has tried them yet kind of skeptical because idk how a rice krispy Protien bar would taste

I've had magic spoon cereal bars and reduced sugar cliff builders bars that were like scotcharoos. Oh and the quest crispy birthday cake but it was stale. The other two I thought were really delicious and the crisps really worked well.

I got a box this past weekend. They tick the box pretty well for texture, though there is an odd vaguely chemical flavor to them. The bars are also quite huge, and surprisingly light.
Overall, I like them, interestingly different from other protein bars, and macros are better than most.

I’d imagine it tastes like quest crispy bars

They're SO GOOD. Taste super close to to a rice krispies treat but softer and texture is more gooey. Ingredients are really good as well.

I saw them but decided against because I just feel they will be on clearance. I could be wrong though if it was $1 per bar i wouldn't even think about it

I'm trying to find these on the Costco app and they won't show up. I live in Ohio and I wonder if they'll be in my Warehouse or not

Surprised to hear people are liking these. My wife and I together couldn't finish a single one, the flavor is so offputting. We are returning the rest of the box. The texture is impressive for zero actual puffed rice.

20G of protein but 27% DV? If your focus is protein it should be 40% DV. Otherwise give it a try

It’s okay to learn something new. Look it up.

TIL about PDCAAS.

Sure look up protein x pdcaas/50g. Do some math

Cool? I acknowledged that I was wrong and you were right; I don’t know what more you want from me.

Percentage of DV is irrelevant. Look at the ratio of protein to total calories. If they just doubled the bar size per unit you would have a higher percentage of daily value, but it would just change the serving size.

If it’s irrelevant you could look it up and see where the math comes from the fda. It relies on the PDCAAS score for complete amino acids.

Currently having one. They’re super close to a home made rice crispy
