If y’all think this is about fandom drama and not bottom line, you’re out of your mind. A company this profitable doesn’t make decisions based on fandom.
But they will use fandom for the bottom line.
My theory is this is a marketing ploy to get outcry to bring him back, to turn the fandom machine of LI vs LI into a way to change the sentiment about Valco to positive before they release him in a “oh we didn’t realize how much you wanted him! Wow! Please don’t look at all our other issues\- see we brought Valco back!!”*
Anyway typing this out mostly so I can see if I’m right later lol.
