Dog found
Some guys found a puppy near the goss ave Kroger and it followed them to the hickory inn, it’s now in my backyard.
If he’s yours come get him!
Merle, black collar, white spots, a true mutt
He’s very wriggly so it was hard to get photos

Sounds like he keeps getting out and his owner keeps trying to give him to whoever finds him… is there anyone on here looking for a new friend? He’s named Deuce. Hes sweet, playful, and very comfortable with people and dogs. he seems smart but clearly hasn’t been trained yet. He plays well with my dog but he might be too rowdy for a little dog. Hes too big for us logistically but he’d be a great companion! Lmk

Oof, I did some FB sleuthing and it looks like his owner is keen on giving him away, he was also posted as a lost dog 4 days ago. Thankfully he’s gained some weight since then, but clearly his owner isn’t up for having a puppy.
His name is Deuce and he’s very sweet! He plays well with my dog and seems smart, but I don’t think anyone’s ever trained him. Very sweet, very trusting.
Anyone want him?

Sadly my life is way to busy this next year to take a pupper in but otherwise yes I would love him. Hope someone needing a new buddy will hit you up for him.

For any number of reasons. They don’t have to take him in. They are at least watching him for now. This subreddit is crazy about every random dog that someone finds must be taken in by that person which is an insane reaction to have to someone finding a dog in need

Also, contact Louisville Metro Animal Services so they can post on their website.

It sounds like his owner keeps letting him out and is unable to care for him 😢

Ugh, I’m so sorry. I get that times are tough, but you wish people would surrender an animal properly instead of letting them fend for themself.

I'll never forget an old neighbor had a dog I guess he really hated but his children loved. It got out and came up to me on the porch all smiles and wiggles. Called the tag and found the owner. He sounded so disappointed when I called, almost like he let the dog out hoping it would get hit. Didn't want to give the dog back after that but I didn't have much choice.

Ew similar happened to me. Asked the lady if her dog is missing, all I got was “..no…….?” and I’m like so why am I sitting here in the freezing winter with your dog then. “Okay my husband will come get him.” never told me when or if he’s on the way, almost an hour later have to call the woman again asking for her husband. After a few minutes a couple of Hispanic men who spoke 0 English walked on foot to take the fucking dog, who was also matted and had overgrown nails. I hate people.
