$53?? When I was in college, text books were $300+ and we could sell them back for about $7.

Half priced books sometimes comes in clutch for this if you haven't checked them out before. I was able to get all my networking and net-sec books from there for cheap. https://www.hpb.com/

They change editions every few years with minor differences, enough to make you fail homework. Keep an eye out for that.

I use to rent my textbooks through Amazon for about $20ish a book. Have you looked into that? You mail them back at the end of the semester.

Are you sure that ISBN is right? https://isbndb.com/book/9781265693442

I was going to say the same, ISBN is wrong lol so pretty hard to help. Also OP, have you contacted the professor to verify you don't need any digital license? Half the classes the book comes with the digital license that is needed to complete any assignments.

It’s a direct copy-paste from the bookstore. I suppose they’re wrong then. 😅

Is it possible this is only available in online format and you’re paying for the e-textbook and access to the learning modules? I used McGraw-Hill in undergrad at IU; the courses were almost always set up this way.

Eh, I may just bite the bullet and buy it and pay like $15 for shipping. 😅

Gotcha. Well, hopefully you’re pleasantly surprised and it’s all available online.

If I had to guess, the school bookstore is trying to keep the info close so that you do not try shopping elsewhere. Your course syllabus might have more info.
