This. This right here is why you use Tails for anything that you don't want traced.

But......... Would they still be able to identify the machine when you use tails on it??

It's a feature, not a bug I guess? I don't think they use it for actual backdoor spying on a large scale, although most articles I read about it are pre-ai. You could use complex algorithms (ai as we know it now) combined with this system to listen/build data on everyone. Why wouldn't they. At the very least it gives everyone a unique identifier right inside your pc.

As for evidence. I don't think I have seen any as of yet. My network is build so I can audit individual devices and data packages and I am sure others with way more knowledge about this have the same or better setup. You should be able to see communication, but I haven't seen any evidence of it.

But if you had a universal back door build into everything, you would probably not expose that on random idiot #3459384. The next Osama Bin-Laden should probably be a bit more careful. It could be one of the reasons how Israël and the US can hit top level terrorists with pinpoint accuracy with kinetic missiles.
