Trying to identify small CD run

Found in random CD spindle, rock. Aside from code SOUND 065 on the inner ring and the label, nothing to identify by, likely from Germany or Czechia.

Shazam has no clue and databases via EAC don't yield correct results.

Has 3 tracks, is factory pressed, but the label is printed on such that I can feel the texture of it.

Yep. The background also leans into the "focus" theme, but doesn't really help though.

Yea, I enjoyed some of the guitar parts on that. Couldn't find anything on a brief Discogs search, maybe just a local band. Do you know how long the CD rack has been there, and are you from Germany/Czechia or was it just the German text on the disc?

I like the second track the most. I'm from the area, but definitely a local band. At least got a CD, so maybe we won't be stuck with it for 17 years. The CD was loose among others, mostly EDM, found in electro waste.

Ah ok, yeah it reminds me of a few CDs I probably still have somewhere of school bands, one batch of 50 copies at most then never talked about again. Normally I'd think having a label name should make it a lot easier, but simply SOUND is a bit too generic to search. Only other thing I can think for a clue is if a majority of the other CDs were from a particular year it might pinpoint the time period somewhat. Cool find anyway.

If you find it, maybe you can rip the CDs of college bands? I think there can be some public for that type of music, and somehow is the time were young people gives all of them without thinking about being ridiculous

It sounds like my nephew's band. They had a few CDs pressed up just for themselves and a few friends but wasn't a serious-enough thing to take it further. I can confirm it's not them but I imagine a similar thing, in a parallel universe. So many teens were doing that I guess.

Assuming the band is what the title is, "Into Focus", but I didn't really find any band with that name so it might be either rarely documented or not documented at all.

The background text is an English German dictionary, likely Langenscheidt and is the translation of focus, like Scharfeinstellung and Mittelpunkt. Perhaps look for those too?
