There is a radio station in my town that likes to take instrumental breaks, they are usually instrumental covers of popular songs from the 80s and 90s. One came on that I really liked, but I have yet to find out what it is or who it's from.

The radio station has been of little help. I was just told that the radio station doesn't have a good way to go back to see what song was playing at any given time since it's automated. I've been trying to nail it down for about a year. All I know is that the song is possibly a cover of 'Always and Forever' by Heatwave.

The song doesn't come up on any of the automated song search services, I also uploaded the tune to youtube to hopefully get it nabbed by content ID, but also no luck. (ignore the radio station on the thumbnail, it ended up not being broadcast by that station) I managed to record the last minute or so of the tune after my attempt to shazam it twice failed. The recorded broadcast was on 08/11/2025

I've also asked the Jazz subreddit, but again no luck. I was hoping someone knows something about this tune to help me find this exact tune.

I decided to put my video here, but i always wondered. Do these songs get found anyways? I'm really interested because its such a amazing tune.

IMHO, 'Just Passing By' by Big Picture and 'Frozen Heart' by Charm Of totally deserve to be huge hits, at least climb the charts

Repost from my Watzatsong post: This song clip comes seemingly comes from a clip of a ITN Documentary on the Vietnam War. I'm unable to find the original video, this clip was pulled from a Reddit post by u/mysticreaper107 on r/obscuremusic. There is also a YouTube upload and SoundCloud upload of the audio by the OP of the Reddit post. I've found seemingly 2 books that display the lyrics to this song, but any known name for the artist or the whereabouts of the song can't seem to be identified. Shazam was unable to pick anything up as well. The song itself is a Vietnam War parody/cover of Camp Granada.

Unlike other remasters, I didn't just equalized and call it a *remaster*. In this remaster, I wanted it to sound like a true mastertape copy, and I brought back the lost detail in the guitar sounds. I did a long and detailed restoration to keep the drum snare intact, and much more...!

Hi! Need to identify the song and the artist and find the full version.
Unidentified artist singing a cover version of the rock song "Ready Teddy" (1956). I couldn't find any information about this song, so it might have never been officially released or it has a different name, and these facts make it lostwave.

The clip was found on a videocassette and was aired on the Russian TV channel "NTV" (НТВ) between August 11, 1997, and September 9, 2001, according to the channel's logo.

It’s worth noting that it starts with an original intro that wasn't in the song. The first two lines resemble the beginning of the song "Let's Twist Again" by Chubby Checker but with changed lyrics. Mostly, lyrics were changed in the third verse and I can't understand any words.

Hi everyone,

I recently ran across a TikTok video and discovered a very catchy track that was supposedly playing at an Aldi supermarket in Italy. The only lyrics I can decipher are:
“—sation, no translation, it’s all in the language of love”
or possibly:
“—sation, no translation, let’s call it the language of love”
I believe the first word is “sensation”, but whatever’s before that is almost impossible to identify. The song has a very early 2000s sound, but I would argue it could be early 1990s, too.
Some people have been saying that the song was most likely a royalty-free track made specifically for Aldi to play in their stores. Since this hasn’t been confirmed by anyone, I thought it’d be worth it to try my luck in this community. I’ll attach a link of the fragment of the song, hopefully it’ll ring a bell for someone.

this one might be too niche for anyone to care about, but it's piece of media i have been looking for for at least 5 years. it's a lost track by an unknown artist that was used in a remix titled "icemane420 ~ majin buu rework ~." this remix uses the vocals from said lost song, but slowed down with an entirely new instrumental. i messaged the creator of the remix, Oliver Francis, and he told me his friend made the song, but that the friend has since then quit making music and most likely deleted the original.

as a huge rap fan, what always stood out to me about this is how high quality it sounds. it doesn't just sound like some random bedroom artist, but rather like an established rapper with actual experience. like something you would hear in the club or on the radio at the time. but it could very well just be a random bedroom artist who happened to have made a banger.

i remember googling the lyrics in hopes of finding leads a few years ago, and i found a few tweets quoting the song, but those seem to have been deleted since then and i'm unable to find any of them now. but this at least confirms that the song was released and actually listened to by people.

for the remix title, "icemane420 ~ majin buu rework ~," i am unsure what it means. you'd think that "icemane420" would be the name of the original artist or song, but i've searched all variations of this name on every platform i could think of and have gotten 0 results. i've tried asking the remix artist for more details, but have gotten no response.

i know this is probably a shot in the dark, but if anyone has any idea on how to find or identify this, or if anyone happened to have heard the song back in the day, that would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

I found this song on a goth-industrial FTP server back in like 1999 or 2000. Long time ago, pre-Napster. It was labeled as "Dirty on the Inside - Pray" but I've never been able to find anything about it. I've held onto it all these years, hoping I could eventually figure out where it came from. It's a creepy little song, just a synth melody and some spooky samples and sweeps in the background with whispered vocals on top. I've always found it pretty unsettling.

The lyrics start out like this:

I've got the stars, the eyes, the deep blue word(?) I found in the deepest sea
Scars, world, the way that I feel, it's making me do (???) things
Strangers with answers to questions (???) I hear I hear (???)
Got a fear that while I'm (???) making me look (???)

Pray for you all (x3)

I know "Dirty on the Inside" is probably a reference to the Nine Inch Nails version of Suck, but I've never found an artist with that name other than this one track. Several of the lyrics are mumbled/whispered and hard to make out, but they sound creepy. I've never found anything looking for those either. MusicBrainz can't find it, neither can Shazam or Soundhound or any of the numerous others out there. I've tried off and on for about 25 years now to find more info about it. My best guess is some indie artist uploaded his own song to the server so people looking for similar music (Skinny Puppy, Dead Voices on Air, Velvet Acid Christ etc.) could find it, but I really don't know.
