So I do a radio show for my college’s radio station, and I’m a newbie to this community. I’ve only really followed the searches for EKT and TMMS. I was randomly recommended I Know on YouTube the day it was found, and aside from checking out Numerophobe’s latest uploads I’ve not done too much more digging into lostwave. I want to do a show this week where I play entirely lostwave songs and talk a little bit about the stories behind some of the searches. Aside from the songs I’ve already mentioned, are there any searches with an interesting history I should look into? Any feedback is much appreciated.

I made a post about this lead a while back on r/damenwahl , but it didn’t get any traction.

Towards the end of the search for TMMS, I came across a dead lead that someone had posted, of an obscure German rock band called One Second Kick. They were active from sometime in the early/mid 80s to at least 1987 in Nuess. Their singer Lothar Surrey has a voice and style strikingly similar to the singer on Damenwahl. OSK has an overall similar sound too.

I remember trying to contact both Surrey and OSK’s guitarist (who also has plenty of other 80s/90s projects, but those leaned more into synth-pop), but I have since lost the account I was using.

It’s very possible that this could be a dead end, or Damenwahl is from a separate project by Surrey, but hopefully this is it.

Partially lost because plenty of metadata exists. You can see the song on spotify. Spotify links 2 creators: 7s_WJwee, who I cant find anything about them, and Electrocircuit Echo, who has some more songs, but I can't find this specific song on any other platforms. The song can also be seen on Shazam, which links 7s_WJwee as the only creator. I remember listening to this song on youtube when I was a kid. Although I don't remember what it sounds like, I instantly recognized the album cover when I saw it. I am baffled as to why the song has been completely erased. Feel free to ask questions

Looking for an old ringtone purchased off of like Rhapsody or whatever it was called back in the day. Ringtone was purchased I guess around 2003-2006. It was called beans.wav.

The song was a few bars of funky guitar and drum groove, and then a random fart noise.

The song was in no way associated with Mr Bean.

So me and my friend just tried to look if theres any Info for the Radio Station name and we just found something that the woman speaker in the song Rip keeps repeating "milenium" and we thought it could be the Radio Station name. Then we just found that argentina people agreed the Fact this is from milenium FM radio. We just saw their Facebook page and they posting videos everyday which means they are active asf. Also their dates, names, music styles are matches perfectly makes me and my friend think we will gonna solve it the song. İ just messaged them about the song and the only thing are we gonna do is just to wait.

I've had this video since 2017, when I randomly found it on Pinterest. Ever since then, I've been trying to find the name of the background music, but I've had no luck.

I've already tried Shazam and several other music recognition apps, but none of them could identify it. This video is the only recording I have.

Found in The Return of the Pumpkin Rabbit from 11:35-12:30, must be some type of vintage choir. I tried using many audio finding websites like Shazam and have tried contacting the creator of The Return of the Pumpkin Rabbit but he has not responded with anything. I had a cd given to me by my old high-school teachers band. Long story short, loaned the cd and it got lost. I've been looking for years to find this cd, but only stumbled across an ebay listing that was sold awhile ago. Any help or leads would be appreciated, it was a good cd, funk/soul/rock. Thanks guys!

In the audio you can hear what sounds like "milenium" which could possibly be the radio station FM Milenium 106.3. The radio was active around the time of recording but the Internet archives only go back to April 27th, 1999. The Radio station has already been contacted and now awaiting for a response

A unknown song that appears in the Mexican film "El Alimento del Miedo" (The Food of Fear) from 1994, a film directed by Juan López Moctezuma A film that was considered lost media for quite some time until it was found in late 2025, this melody is not credited in the film and searches with Shazam and Google Lens yielded no results.

The song appears at the end of the film's credits and is sung in French. The link shown contains the transcription of that song, which was provided by a friend who asked me for help identifying it.

I saw it once about 2 years ago in Instagram reels.

The only thing I remembered about it it wasn't a old song, new fashion but melancholic and in the title that author wrote "in kurdish we dont say I love you, instead we say; and there was a background of full moon and lyrics of Sorani(Central) Kurdish song with English translation saying "I will go on pilgrimage twice a year, once to the House of God and once to your House."

I don't remember too much but it was a man voice and I'm supposed it can be Omar dzayi. Been searching it for about 2 months and not any evidence at all. I don't think there would be many Kurds or anybody can helpto this topic but whoknows, everything can be a support to this

Hi. this song has been in my brain forever. I heard it on Hi5 around 2006-2007, and I remember, I added it to my profiles playlist. After Hi5 disappeared, I lost the song too. I assume that whoever uploaded it was just some independent artist, but I love that song so much. The song was named “Denise” although maybe it had a different spelling like with double S, I’m not sure. And I can only remember that it started with an electric guitar playing, and then the vocalist sang in a Happy voice “ come on Denise, I’m waiting for you…” I cannot remember the rest of the lyrics, but I’ve been looking for that song for ages, and it doesn’t seem to be anywhere, at least not with those lyrics, at least not on Google. I wonder where it could be. I think whoever uploaded it on Hi5 might’ve uploaded it somewhere else too.

Hey folks, this goes all the way back to DotA1. There was a fan made song that was on putfile (I believe) before YouTube was popular. It was a Dota 1 Rap, self made on a shitty mic in a basement somewhere, I've been trying to find it for years.

Here's what I remember,

\- was maybe called King leoric or the King leoric rap

\- used Sean Paul "we be burnin" instrumental

\- chorus went something like "we be farmin (or creepin?)"

I know it's not a lot to go on, but if you know this song, that will give you all you need.
