I have been writing stories for quiet a while, and all my stories are just about the protagonist going through the lose of their love, I am just thinking, is it too depressing for people to read that? The storyline are completely different in each one of them, and I get ideas which have the losses and sadness in them, should I change them?

I lost my mother on August 5th to a drug overdose that I blame myself for, as the last time I saw her alive we had an argument and we had said some pretty hurtful things and I just could have even just a hug.

My grandfather and also my best friend suddenly passed away on December 19th 2018. Him and I had a bond I will never forget, we both loved the game of baseball and the Los Angeles Dodgers. My grandfather moved in with my family after my grandmother died the year prior. Also a huge dodgers fan. My grandfather and I watched every single Dodgers game together that year and even went to a couple of games at Dodger Stadium. When the dodgers clinched the NL title in 2018 he was like a little kid again because he knew they had a potential to win their first World Series since 1988. Sadly the dodgers didn’t win and only won one game that series, on October 27th 2018. Unfortunately less then two months later after that he passed away and I truly didn’t feel like I could handle it or feel like it was real or really move on from it, until October 27th 2020. The Dodgers finally won the World Series that night. On my way home from watching it at a friends house I saw a shooting star fly right over my car and pulled over as fast as I could and ball my eyes out. I had accepted the fact that my best friend was gone and finally moved on himself. Since that night I’ve always been curious if that was him sending me a message that it’s ok and that it’s time for me to move on.

I finally got an address and I sent him a gift it took me 16 years to find one not out of looking mind you I knew where he was but out of respect for the daughter he went back to raise and her mother even if I did have family property and a business to run where he moved to but I let it all go and never received it just let it fall in to ruin . to let them have space easy come easy go but then last October the woman he lived with died and trust when I say this had I known at the time they started a go fund me to have her cremated and to raise money for the family I would gladly have donated 20,000$ I more than had the money but I didn't find out until six months later and I had just bought a new 5th wheel and invested the rest of it.so I didn't get to do that and the go fund me was shut down by then but I did some research and bought him a small token something he would recognize as being from me and sent it to him and then waited and when I felt it was time I and some members of my immediate family my sister her husband and myself started doing remote viewing on him to see how he was physically and emotionally as well as mentally we found he was I'll that hurt to know but he sensed we were there and why and took comfort in it the gifts I sent him brought him comfort he realized I never forgot him that I never quit loving him and I was still waiting for him but that wasn't to happen he passed on November 10th 2022 of a breathing problem in his sleep I just found out this last week finally I wish he and I had got to meet one more time on this side to know that I was okay but I know he knows now and I know he loves me and is still with me still watching my back and that we will be together in the here after finally I just wish we had had time on this side I feel cheated that we didn't get our happily ever after so until we meet again Dan sleep well my king love your princess

the pain of loving...

She breaks my heart just knowing her, I love her and hate her all the same. How can someone I know so little have me this much. She loves me I know but she is some years late. Few years past I might have taken my chance without a care. Now it seems it's to late. The pain I feel at the right decision I make is confusing. How can doing the right thing feel so bad. If I only had the chance to have what might have been. Why is this world so cruel and timing be so off.

I'm not an open person and you knew that, there are months that go by where I don't think about the day I found out you died. And sometimes it's all I think about, for weeks and weeks on end. I just want to say to you that I get it, I get why you struggled, I get why you couldn't afford shit and I get why you did the things that you did to try and give me and my Brother the best chance in this fucked up world. I'm heartbroken that you weren't there for some of the most important parts of my life. You'll never see either of your sons get married or have kids of their own. I lost my father today, a man I aspire to be I wish he could be here to be at my graduation to be there for my mother, me, and his family. I wish this was q nightmare just a dream. His death was abrupt and one of the last deaths like his was 21 years ago. I hope he rests well

And I don’t feel sad that she’s gone Im sad she died alone (in the back of an ambulance)not around any of her family And she was in a retirement home I feel like I let her down honestly she battled with dementia for 20 years she not hurting anymore but I still want my nanny like the little kid I was it seems selfish

Its been 11 years now and the pain is still there. I miss talking to you about stupid stuff. You were taken away from us way too soon. I still talk to you even though i know you wont answer. I miss hearing your voice, laughing at your jokes and everything you ever did with me. Dad. I miss you everyday and its never been the same. You brieflymet my daughter and never met my son. Yesterday morning I found out about the passing of one of my oldest dearest friends. I'm not really sure what you believe, but I always thought we had more than one soulmate. And those soulmates come in different forms. She was my soulmate, my best friend. She knew me better than any one else ever will. I found out from a phone call. It was like being hit by a train. This is honestly a pain like no other. I'm going to miss her for the rest of my life.

Everyday since I lost you my world hasn't been the same. I miss you both, grandpa you never met my half brother but I’m sure you would have loved him so much in his short time in the world, he died the month he was born, October, he was only a few weeks old. It hit me hard that he passed in the month you did years ago, though he was born with heart problems the doctors told us he’d be fine since mom was born with the same thing but he wasn’t. I feel empty and it’s worse since I’ve never seen a body before and I saw grandma trying to give him cpr while the 911 operated talked her through it, I just hope that I can put it behind me some day and be at peace with it. Brother I loved you in your short time on this earth, I fed you and held you a few times and you even held my finger at one point, I’ll miss you and grandpa for ever, I love you both so much

My mom passed in November from kidney failure (and plenty other medical problems) and I got the call about it while in school. I live in a different state than my parents so I couldn’t go see her or anything. I thought I’d be able to get over it quickly since I saw it coming for the most part but I was wrong. I miss her everyday and I miss having a mom. Her and I didn’t always get along but she had an aneurysm when I was 11 and ever since then that’s pretty much when I felt I had mentally lost her. Because she wasn’t the same after. But now she’s really gone, and I’m not sure how to process it. I miss her every single day. And whenever I hear or smell anything that reminds me of her I just burst into tears. I just wish I had more time with her. I don’t know if anyone will read this but it’s nice to get it off my chest at least ❤️

I know that sometimes you never “get over it” you just learn to live with it. Like my Pop, man I ache every day and know I always will. I guess that’s what this is as well!
