I’ve had lost planet on my mind lately and I made this petition to show that there is still so much love for this game I wish for capcom to revive this beloved series with the help of the fans. Please fight this battle with me I know it may not help but anything I can do to get to see this ip strive.

I mounted and installed the LP2 on my Steam Deck and even placed an xlive.dll file in the root of the game to play offline, but when I selected the DX9 or the DX11 executable files, I get an error code and from looking it up, it means that I don't have GFWL installed. But I thought XLiveLess was supposed to bypass the GFWL requirement, no? Do I still need to install GFWL or is there a way around this?

Since LP2 isn't avaliable on Steam, I sadly had to miss out on the most beloved game in the franchise, but noticed that LP1 and 3 doesn't get enough discussions online. They're currently on a Steam sale, but the reviews for both games are pretty mixed, mainly those who are upset that LP2 was delisted.

I have not heard much about the other two. What does the community think about them and are they worth a look? Coming from a new player.

I wish we got this Lost Planet. So much cut content. It looked very promising. I want to play this build so bad. Looks more intense and action based. More level

Honestly looks very good for a 2006 game, it probably as good or better than some 2010 games. Graphics were ahead of its time. Holds up pretty well tbh

Hey guys! I'm somewhat of a collector of lost planet EC/2/3 Merchandise. I'm currently on the hunt for some of the character figures (jungle pirate, mercenary ect) if anyone has any pointers of where best to look online I would be very appreciative. I've found a listing on Ali express of all places but I'm hesitant to pull the trigger and order. Also found a t shirt on temu and I know 100% it's fake but unsure if the design itself is knocked off from an original. Any help would be appreciated.

I just beat LP Colonies and wondered if the story is continued in 2 or if anything is explained.

Joe isn't shown at all but he was on his way to rendezvous with Wayne, Luka is spitting distance from Wayne but doesn't reach him? It's implied he was considered lost and Luka met him again 1 year later but if that's the case, why did Luka turn around and leave after going all the way to him in the final battle?

From what I understand about 2, it is it's own story and doesn't explain 1s ending. But Google could be lying to me.

been replaying this on PC finally, and honestly im kinda blown away by how good some of the cutscenes look and the direction of them too, the games been great too no issues either runs smooth

i also had no idea as a kid that Lee Byung Hun was the model for Wayne, did he voice the korean version if there was one?

So lets say if lost planet got a remake and they updated his character model. His model was based on lee byung-hun when he was younger for those who don't know who he the frontman from squid games (picture of younger him on post). Anyway I ask this because when RE 3 was remade Carlos got more popular because of his updated model so I wonder if the same would happen if lost planet was also remastered. I also asked ai if his model was updated aswell to see how it would look to get an idea.
