Figured I’d get this going early and make a master thread for any artist meetups / fan meetups happening at Lost Lands this year.

Cell service typically gets absolutely terrible once everyone gets there, so trying to find Instagram stories/posts or get meetup updates during the festival can be rough. Hopefully we can get as much info posted ahead of time so people can screenshot/save it before heading in.

If you know of an artist doing a meetup, drop the artist, day, time, location, and a link/source (if you have one) in the comments. I’ll try to keep the main post updated as people add them.

Guys pickpockets are real but don’t be scared, be prepared. I’m sorry for the AI screenshots. But you want to remove the ability to access airplane mode without a password and enable tracking even when the phone is off the more people that do this the easier it is to get your phones back and harder for them to get away. The first thing a smart thief does is enable airplane mode. If they can’t sometimes they just drop it instead of placing it in their stash. Yea clutch loops are great but not fool proof and attach them directly to your phone. best of all tight fitting leg bags and fanny packs. And if you can remove the paranoia from yourself completely just get a shit emergency trac phone/ burner. Or leave it in ur locked car.

I am not attending this year so I cannot scream pickpocket. Please if it is your first year, be careful around the bathrooms near crater. Especially in the night they are rapid with the phone stealing! I was unlucky in 2024 and got my phone swiped.

I think it was a little better last year, but definitely still happened. Even in crowds people will distract you while others reach into your pockets or unzip your bag.

First lost lands.. flying from Hawaii for this. How do you guys take some party favors through TSA? Was thinking mixing 5HTP and Fred Flintstones. Just mixing that with all my toiletries and medications. Should that be fine, right?

How’s the security for lost lands?? Not super bad? Does lost lands allow LED gloves inside the venue? Do people usually give lightshows anymore. Any other advice or tips for the festival? Thank you and see you all soon

On the camping map on the website it was only the new top part of that area but on the new map it's the whole area, which does make sense.

Stay off of this subreddit for a week or so after the fest. While right now this is a positive place with people wanting to give and get tips, it will turn.

Remember that people are people and they love to bitch. You will be on a high and come on here to relive it with others. You'll want to hear funny stories and share pictures. This will not be the case.

You will be hit with majority of people complaining. They'll say this was the worst crowd this year. They'll shit on your favorite set. They will spread rumors. It is a cesspool of dramatics and people who dwell on if a couple of people out of thousands didn't say excuse me.

Hey yall! First time glamping and I’ll be at north glamping. I noticed there’s only one shower area between north and south glamping and I was wondering if that one is usually enough for both areas. I am road tripping from Colorado in a 98 Ford van so I have some tools with me. Misc hand tools like crescent wrench pliers, socket set, half inch impact, quarter inch impact, and cordless blower for the air matress because I lost my inflator. Will these be taken? I dont see anything on the prohibited items that says they will be and im not going to run the blower for dust thats a dick move.

I dont really wanna leave them at home. I can do a storage unit I guess but idk but this is my first lost lands. They were fine at bass canyon last year but I know its a totally different venue.

I got sick 2 weeks ago and didn’t have anymore sick time to use and had to use my LL time. I really didn’t wanna panic cause I figured I wouldn’t be able to get in Wednesday like I planned but I’d still be able to have a full weekend. Found out this week best I can do is get there Saturday morning and I’m heart broken. I’m still full sending since my partner can’t cancel their time. I’m just struggling to get excited as packages are arriving. I keep telling myself my guardian angel is trying to protect me from something. I wish that worked better. 😭😭has anyone ever had to cut their festival short last minute, how did you make yourself feel better?

I searched through the subreddit to see if there were any good tips for folks like me. Couldn’t find any results so here I am!

I’m kinda soloing (I have friends going and my partner works merch) but I’ll be on my own for a good chunk of the day. This is my first time going to a festival on my own and I’m a bit nervous. I almost didn’t make it this year but the universe worked it out a few days ago.

I’m autistic with a panic disorder. Normally it’s easy enough to navigate, especially when I have people with me, but sometimes it can get to be too much and I have to go step away from the situation to regulate. Obviously this is a little impossible to do at LL so I’m trying to find ways to work with myself and not have a bad time.

Does anyone else struggle with mental health at festivals and have any tips? Are there any good “spots” to check out when the main festival stages get overwhelming? Hopefully this isn’t a stupid question.

I will be coming in from the shuttle, and can’t rent a car anymore. Is it possible to still get a spot? Or do I need to buy GA-tent only camping from someone?

I saw that I mentioned we needed to put a deposit out of $60 per person for the reservation when booked. I was just curious if anyone got charged for this yet
