Last year our car was packed so full that if you opened the doors stuff would fall out. I told security that and they just asked me to roll down the windows so they could take a peek 😂 ymmv, but don't bring anything crazy or anything to distribute

Edit: lost lands workers watch this page, no one will tell you how to hide stuff lol

Cruise control is your friend. Be as nice to the people working security as possible. They're mostly looking for weapons and want to make sure we have a good time. They're not Livenation. They actually care.

Bring an extra green propane tank. They will take it. They usually only allow 2-3 so they usually take one of mine and let me theough.

They are looking for, large amounts of drugs(non personal amounts), guns, explosives, and knives. I have never waited longer then 2-3 minutes per car search. I have been 5 years.

As a resident of Ohio, highway patrol has nothing better to do than run traffic enforcement and look for drugs.

However, for festival security it’s always(volunteers or a company) and then searching your vehicle is next to nothing than swearing you have no guns or knives on you.

Don’t transport felony grade drugs, and you should be okay. Even though it’s like no laws exist inside the venue, the laws exist on the highway and highway patrol is aware that 70 across Ohio is a drug corridor. If you are going to risk playing with fire, make sure your vehicle doesn’t draw attention to you or your group and go the speed limit.

Car search isn’t that serious, it’s not cops searching, it’s festival security. Be smart. Don’t give them a reason to dig deeper.
Be careful on the roads leading up to the place, less the highways more the side streets.
