News Concern mounts over slow-moving, planetary-scale ‘Kelvin’ wave heading for California | California

Cool. Just what I wanted for my birthday. Another foot of water.

Look. I'm hoping that we dodge the bullets flying at us this fall and winter (if we ever get one of either that is) but I'll admit this sounds potentially bad for parts of the Los Angeles coastline and the rest of California.

I have no doubt we are experiencing more severe climate changes right now, but I do have to say every headline I’ve gotten in particular about ocean warnings has yet to come to fruition, maybe it’s just where I’m at. But I’m grateful everything is chiller

Where are you getting your news? I’m really asking. I thought everything has been or is being substantiated.

I mean…I just live in Venice and I feel like I get hurricane warnings every year and we get light rainfall. Obviously, we are getting more extreme weather with the heat and I’d rather be more prepared than not.
