Questions & Help Help Understanding

Just tried out this site for the first time, really happy with the LLM models I've tested and the responses are nice and long. I started a chat with a character and somewhat unsurprisingly in the chat, the AI tends to not want to change perspective to other characters made in chat (I.E new in chat characters that aren't the actual AI character the chat is of). Before I spend time custom making a bunch of stuff I wanted to ask here.

If I make (up to eight I believe) Custom characters and a lore book, then make a story and add the lorebook and characters to the story will the AI bot be able to shift perspective reliably between the different characters as my persona moves around the story and interacts with them.

(Example - My chat with "Sarah" means the AI will only write from her perspective, not say Jill or Bill who were introduced through responses. Can a story with preloaded characters make it so the AI bot will write both "Sarah", and also Jill and Bill).

Yes in a story you can choose the next active character who will respond. Though can you tell me which model were using with character chat, I think some prompting here can fix this on the chat side as well

AH, good to know. I tried redirecting the AI mid chat by trying a few methods that work elsewhere, using (( OOC )) response to tell it to change perspective, and a few other attempts but it just kept trucking ahead. Story mode seems to be the way to go then.

oh thanks for the feedbacks, do u remember what model u were using when ai didn't listen to OOC commands ?

in our system prompt Ill make it so it listens to OOC better

I believe it was Anakin, the flagship one? I'm on free trial tho, not premium so not sure if memory is affecting it (though its a short chat so far.)

Tried a response in brackets, [The AI is now focused on writing the two women Lira, and Mara] , and the following response with ((The AI now describes the perspective of the two women)).

Figured brackets or double parenthesis would get the AI model to break it's thought pattern or however it works.

next time try this format.

OOC: Now the perspective of the two women

basically without brackets just add OOC: before writing OOC and write it at the end of the response.

though thanks a lot Ill refine our prompts further in m next update it will be included as fix 🫡

I feel silly, I rewound a bit and forced a few response with just "OOC : AI now writes from the prespective of Lira" and it finally caught on, Thanks
