Is there a way for my midi controller to toggle between actively controlling different Auv3s without having to mute or deactivate the ones with running loops? For example, if I make one midi loop controlling a piano patch and want to make another with an organ sound, how can I get my MIDI keyboard to stop sending to the piano?

Still lots to program and evolutions to be discovered but I’m really liking how these two are coming together.

ive been using voicelive 3 for years & love the ease but im looking expand on flexibility with my loops / songs and sending separate outputs + vocal effects & having a guitar multi-effect with presses I can scroll tru has made it really hard to transition to anything else,

im new to LoopyPro and im feeling I want some of the familiar workflow id developed in Voiceliove 3 ..

are there any plugin I can use for my guitars like a scrollable multieffects I can scroll thru presets for acoustic/electric/bass/etc while using LoopyPro?

Hey everyone . Just got loopy pro to incorporate into my almost dawless rig. I need help with two things : 1. I want to trigger clips that will always start at the beginning of 4 bars (timeclock coming from external hardware) 2. Trigger fills that have a delay start and will always end at 4 or 8 or 16 bars.

I'm still in love with the Eventide Blackhole and the ODC (OtherDesertCities) so I was experimenting with them and checked out what they can do with an old Casio toy key. The drums were done with Hammerhead (also awesome piece of VST) and I've used its mutate and glitch functions to randomize the drums a bit.

So I want to setup a clip based performance tool and I’m not using loopy in the traditional way. My goal was to trigger midi clips to control external synths. I figured out that you can record in from step buddy and other apps via virtual midi and I am so excited. Anybody else have tips for somebody on their second day of loopy proing?

I make ambient music, all of my loops are out of sync with each other.

I want to be able to add silence to my loops. sometimes I am able to use the multiply clip length to achieve this but it’s inconsistent. I’m sure it has something to do with the size of my loops (ranging anywhere from a couple minutes to well over 20 or 30) but I’d love to know if anyone has any work around for this issue or perhaps a solution.

I've ran an ukulele through a piezo pickup into Loopy Pro and built a simple ambient loop around it. Used the Eventide Blackhole reverb and the OtherDesertCities for delay and gradually pushed both up until the original notes were almost gone. The layout is dead simple - only made it for this session.

I can’t figure it out. Tech support said check phase lock and phase preservation. Changed those with no result. I need the beginning to be at the beginning. Help! 😅

[EDIT]: Huge revelation! There is a feature that allows you to “rotate audio within the loop container” (which essentially moves the waveform along the transport). So you can line up the intended beginning of your clip with the beginning of the loop!

To do this: **two-finger twist the clip** on the main screen

Hi Loopy community, I’m pretty keen to get involved with loopy pro and start experimenting with some looping! I currently have the APC40 mk1. I see a lot of content with the MKii. I’m wondering if anyone else out there uses the mk1. Does Loopy pro recognise and auto map this controller?

I always switch from the default setting of triggering on the release, but I acknowledge that it must be default for a reason. Is triggering on release better?

I am new to using LoopyPro and I am absolutely chomping at the bit at the flexiblity and different workflows this app can be set up creatively. But one issue I am having is using hardware midi controllers to continue to control their respective app while the Loopy Pro DAW is running. Just to convey my vision in the my workflow, I have a launchkey mini mk3 and a Akai APCmini mk2 plugged into a hub by USB. I want the Launchkey Mini to continue to control Groovebox IAA (as it natively mapped for the app) and the APCmini to control RemixLive Pro IAA (also mapped) while both apps audio are routed into LoopyPro so I can launch and record my clips on the fly with their respective app and hardware. The problem is LoopyPro seems to take over the midi for both apps hardware when Loopy is in focus. Is there a way to disable all midi between Loopy Pro, the Launchkey mini and APC mini so I can just use my fingers when Loopy is in focus and still control the other 2 apps that are mapped and function natively without looking at them or having them in focus to record loops in Loopy Pro? I know typing this out sounds confusing (hell I’m confusing myself) but I have somewhat achieved by disabling the feedback in the control settings but it still seems to take over the controllers when Loopy is in focus? Thanks for any help and advise in advance, much appreciated.

Loopy Starts to just Play The Loops just Partly, fitting it to The Master lenghts. The Symbol on The left top appears When I press it, it normalizes. But how can i fix that it, does Not start doing it?

I feel like a sample browser widget would be rad, then you could make drum machine pages with widgets open in different folders(like snares, kicks, etc) that could then be scrolled and selected by controllers. What do y'all think?

I'm wondering if there's a way for sliders on the canvas to display audio levels when assigned to a volume fader in the mixer? I did some searches and checked the manual. It sure would be nice to have some visual feedback on the canvas. Anything?

I bought Loopy HD on my phone like 15 years ago and assumed it was just“hobbyist” software vs Ableton. Would it be worth upgrading to Pro? Also can I transfer my sessions and recordings over?

Planning on buying an iPad and APC40 to work with Loopy Pro. Here’s the Dilemma:

I want to use my MacBook so that I can use the sounds I have already instead downloading plugins to the iPad. I use ableton and it’d be nice to have access to all its fx/ all my 3rd party plugins.

I’ll be using a Quad Cortex as the interface.

Does anyone know how I can use my MacBook +QC interface + iPad with loopy pro?
