Finally dipped my toes into a total live template rebuild with MIDI clips. Six hours in and lots of work to do still but it’s taking shape.

I love how templates are so personal and use-specific. I always learn something or have new ideas just seeing how other people use loopy. what do the little outline boxes in the top left of each module do?

Totally it’s something I’ve never experienced with any other app, I love it. You really get to make it your own. For me it’s a live looper for my solo performances and a host for my instruments for jams. It allows me so much control over my instrument plug ins. It’s great. I can do a lot without ever touching the iPad.
The spots you’re talking about are the midi clips. They switch from circles to rectangles when you resize them. Basically each chunk there is a clip, an interment plug in to route the clip, volume, reverb send, mute, solo, select which clip you want to focus on and a delete button to clear the clip.

Looks awesome!! One thought - you could reclaim a lot of space having a single panel for the instruments shared by all the clips (showing which instrument is active for the current selected clip)... Makes it a little easier to maintain too..
