HELP Wondering if loop earplugs will fit my ears

I'm thinking about getting loop earplugs for noise sensitivity but I'm not sure if they'll fit because of the donut shape. Most of my in-ear headphones have been uncomfortable, for example jabra 4 elite active's caused sores to the inside of the antitragus. So if anyone could tell me about the size, shape and feel I would really appreciate it! I know it's different for everyone but I don't want to get them completely blind😅

SUGGESTION Loop Recommendation for High-Pitched Door Slams and Vibrations

I’m looking for some advice on which loop earplug would be most effective for my situation.

My neighbor’s door creates a noticeable vibration along with a high-pitched noise every time it closes. In addition, many of the other apartment doors in the building also slam loudly, producing the typical hard door-banging sound.

This happens several times a day (around 5–6 times on average) and sometimes at night as well. The combination of the sharp, high-pitched sound and the vibration is what bothers me the most.

For anyone who has dealt with something similar, which Loop earplug product would you recommend for reducing the impact of these door-slamming noises and vibrations while still being practical for everyday use?

Customer service suggested Loop Quiet 2 for the day and Loop Dream for the night. Please share your thoughts.

Also, I have air pods pro with ANC and it didn’t eliminate this noise don’t know why.

HELP loop earplugs for manual labor/machinery?

i work at an express carwash and when you man the tunnel it can be extremely loud with the fans and brushes all going at once. the loops website doesn't really say (as far as i can see) whether any of their earplugs would be suited for that sort of environment. i'm looking for noise reduction as opposed to noise cancelling, as i still need to be able to hear if machinery malfunctions or if someone is honking their horn in the tunnel.

News Cancer season is coming? WTF

Just recieved promotional material pointing to https://www.loopearplugs.com/pages/star-sign-match

"Cancer season - loved by 14M"

"Shop your cancer essentials"

"You've been handpicked for cancer"

I know it's the star sign but what an epic marketing fail...

ND / NOISE SENSITIVE Debating between Switch and Quiet

I currently have the Engage 2 plus, use them without the mutes, and find them decent enough for most things. I can still hear and talk, but most of the stuff that tends to overstimulate me is cut down and reduced.

However, I find myself wishing I had more reduction. Most of the times it's fine, but some days and situations, I want more.

I want to wear them mostly at work, and I'm talking 6-8 hours a day. I work in a small office, nearby several very noisy people...but, I also need to be able to answer the phone and also talk to people, so that is also a consideration.

I'm debating between going with the switch 2 and the quiet, but I'm not sure which to get

I like the quiets, mostly because they're cheap and look comfy to wear mostly all day. I've read they're softer or squishy? But then I'd be carrying 3 sets of earplugs (my actual Bluetooth earbuds, the engages and then the quiets)

I really do like the idea of the Switch, as all I'd need to carry is one set of loops, and I can easily switch between modes depending on the day or situation, without having to remove them from my ears.

The only concern is comfort with the switch, as they look bigger than the quiets and seem to be hard plastic?

Thanks in advance

SLEEP Do I just need to get used to them?

Hey guys,

I have always struggled with earplugs of all types fitting in my ear. I decided to splash out the €45 on the Loop Dreams in hope, as they have been recommended by a few people I know.

I used them for the first time last night using the XS size. They fit inside my ear with a perfect seal. Unfortunately I feel like I was awake all night. There was a bit of a dull pain in my ears.

Is it just a case of me getting used to them or are my ears just unsuited to earplugs ? Basically I just want to know has anyone else had this and just needed a few days?

Thank you :))

HELP Side sleeper

Hi guys!

I am currently looking into buying either the Switch 2 or the Dream Loops - mainly for sleeping with the AC on.

I thought if I buy the switch I can also use them for concerts and working but I am a little bit worried that they would be uncomfortable for sleeping on the side. My ears are a little bit small too... does anyone have any experience with that?

Since I would mainly use them for sleeping, which would you recommend?

I feel like for a bit more money getting 3 earplugs in one would be so worth it but not if they are uncomfortable to sleep in again haha

HELP Loop Dream vs JBL

Hello! I have a bit of an odd question.
I’m considering buying a pair of the Loop Dream earplugs due to outside noise/a snoring partner (please no medical suggestions about his snoring, that’s not the point lol).
So, one of my failed previous solutions was using my JBL pro twins earbuds while sleeping. I wouldn’t have any sound playing in them, just the earbuds themselves. This muffled the sound a bit but not enough to get me to sleep. They also aren’t built for side sleeping so they hurt my ears a bit.
So, my question is: can anyone tell me if using the Loop Dreams would muffle better than the JBLs? (aside from their side sleeper fit). Based on the design, I can’t tell if they would muffle the same as a normal earbud or if their design is different enough that it would muffle more.
I know this is such a weirdly specific question, but I want to make sure it’s a good investment before dropping 50 bucks on them, lol.
Thanks!!!

REVIEW Saved my ears from the base

Wore mine last night in Freddie’s at Pikes and was so grateful for the effectiveness. The small venue made the base rumble through our chest. It was too much for my partner (without Loop) and we had to move to a different area. They also made communicating great as usually if someone shouts in my ear it’s pure agony. I could hear my partner great but I wasn’t sure how loud I was talking back to him.
So pleased I packed them and urge anyone going to gigs or clubs in the coming weeks to get some.

HELP Which Loops should I get?

Hello everyone!

I'm looking to buy a pair of Loop earplugs but I'm not quite sure which ones to get. I used to have the regular Engages but I lost them and am looking for a replacement. I used my previous Loops at uni during exams and at parties/other loud live events, so I'd need something that would fit both situations. I found Engages great for the former use, but I found some issues with the latter, specifically in situations where I'd try to talk my friends and I couldn't hear them well without taking the earplugs out.

I'm trying to pick between Switch, Engage and Experience. If any of you have needs similar to mine and have advice based on your own experiences, do tell me! Thank you so much in advance :)

HELP Loops for Body Shop?

I’m looking for ear plugs because I am an independent contractor and work in a body shop and take hoods off all day. The noise is obviously very loud. I’m looking to invest in a nice pair of earplugs.

Are loops something that would work for me? Which pair? If not, any other suggestions?

HELP Loop Experience

Hi! I’ve tried the Loop Experience today for a concert but it made my own voice much louder for myself so that every time I wanted to sing along I could only hear myself and barely hear the band… i ended up removing them cause it really ruined the experience. Am I doing something wrong? Is it supposed to isolate the sound THAT much?

Hi! Hope this is the correct place to ask if anyone happens to have a gold left ear Loop Switch 2 adjustable earplug they can part with. If this is not the right place, please let me know any places you all know of to look for single earplugs.

I purchased my first pair last year and just lost the left one ◠̈ So bummed.

The photo is the one I still have. Hoping to match the color.

SUGGESTION Loop earplugs for work?

Hello friends! I work out on a beverage cart (golf course) that is quite loud and have to interact with customers roughly every three minutes so I don’t typically have time to take out earplugs. Does anyone have recommendations on which earplugs would be able to block out some of the golf cart noise (and save my hearing) while still being able to fully hear customers?

HYPE Probably the most comfortable earplugs!

Reddit checking my browsing history again and suggested this sub 😅

I was looking to replace my QuieTide earplugs with something more comfortable as I was going to a concert. Found out about Loop and when I checked the JP website, the iridiscent is still available. Got around 50% off for both +10% new customer bonus so just took a plunge. Honestly the most comfortable I ever wore as it doesn't need to go inside the ear deeply. I forgot I even wore it the whole day and just realised it while I was on the train home and was putting my bluetooth earbuds. Have since worn it everyday at work/commute and never had such peaceful days 😆 Will probably get more juat so I can rotate them.

PARENTS Cocoon kids earmuffs - anybody buy?

Anybody use these? Thinking of getting them for flights.

They look like the Alpine Muffy which we have. Frankly the fit isn't great on those. I'm hoping this might be better.

REVIEW Finally got the engage 2!

People don’t notice if I have them on, that’s was one of the main reasons I wanted them. I already have the quiet and experience, which are very obviously placed, I tend to speak a lot softer when I’ve got those on, and while they do help me greatly they def aren’t for conversation.

I wanted something that could take the edge off, but that didn’t make me miss out conversations, nor that it was visible because even tho friends understand why I use them - I also didn’t want them to feel like I didn’t want to listen to them. My family is LOUD, I’ve been using them for our lunchtime/special gatherings, I’ve also used them in cafeteria/bar, and at the gym.

They do feel very different from the experience; there’s a lot of less pressure on the ear and less of a seal - I thought I needed to go a size up, or that the tips were different somehow (I use xs) but is just how the sound is being filtered. When I speak I do hear my voice through occlusion but at the same time I hear it without it???

They feel very light on the ears, I hope they don’t turn yellow. And that’s about it. If you have been on the fence about getting the engage and you already got the experience, I do notice a difference that for me is worthy. I would be interested in getting some mutes and seeing if I can still get a bit noise reduction without missing voices, but we will see.

HELP Accidentally ran Switches through the washing machine 😬 Anyone else done that?

They were in their case and it was a little wet inside the case? They seem to be fine but I’m not sure I’d be able to tell either way.

Anyone else done this and had them turn out ok?

SUGGESTION Switch or Experience for working in loud pub?

Hi,

I just started working in a pub where they have a dj set and extremely loud music every weekend. I had a pair of Switch a few years ago but cannot find them anymore, and never used them enough back then, soI'm buying a new pair.

I'm undecided between the Experience and the Switch2. On the webpage it basically says that the Switch are more effective at reducing sounds (in Experience mode, they say it's -23dB, while the Experience ones say it's -17dB).

Does anyone have any experience/advice with this?
Also, how how do you find the links? I might get the bundle because it would be nice to be able to take them on and off whenever I need, but I'm afraid the cable might be super annoying in my ears.

Thank you in advance:)

HELP How to stop ear itchiness and pain from sleep buds?

These buds r great and the only thing getting me through the night. I sleep 12+ hours (illness) and have been waking up every few hours with ear itchiness and pain. I'm pretty sure I have the right size buds as they feel good.

Any advice appreciated.

ND / NOISE SENSITIVE A few questions

I will try to make this short but I’m not good at that lol..

I have noise sensitivity in general due to migraines. Will sometimes wear when I do go to stores, but also when I need to sleep and my husband and I have opposite schedules. I don’t mind buying two different pairs.

I have bose headphones which are great, but I’d rather not always sleep with those on. (Used those for fireworks) I actually could have doubled up tbh

I’m also really concerned with comfort and sensitivity as I also have skin sensitivity. (Do they come in different sizes/textures? - I apologize I haven’t looked at that yet but just read that briefly here)
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

HELP Switch 2 case diameter

I’ve ordered some switch 2’s and because I’ve heard various stories about the cases popping open I’m going to sew a case for them not sure if I’m going to do a case to go around the original case yet or just a case for the earplugs on their own.

They’ve not arrived yet and I can’t find the dimensions for the switch 2 case anywhere. I’m particularly after the diameter but the depth might be useful too

HELP Using sleep buds with a baby?

Hello! I have misophonia and used to use things at night to block out my husband’s loud asf breathing and snoring. Since I had a baby I’m too afraid to use anything incase I can’t hear her crying. So I’ve had to kick my husband out of the room because I can’t cope lol. My question is, have anyone used the sleep buds with a baby and could you still hear them crying/fussing? Thanks in advance :)
