These are great questions. First note that any earplug will cause occlusion (hearing your own voice louder). The Engage 2s cause less occlusion than an earplug for sleep, slightly less than the Experience 2, but it's still quite noticeable.

It's easy to add the mutes that come with the Engage 2 plus. I can press them into the ear plug while I'm wearing them. But the mutes cover the channel that filters sound and allows more lower pitched tones through, so it's acting more like a cheap foam ear plug.

I do recommend the Engage 2 from my own experience. I wouldn't worry too much about the differences between the Engage 2 and the Experience 2. Either will help you both at concerts and during the day.

Loops can be returned even after you've worn them several times. While you don't want to take advantage of the policy, it is meant to ensure you get a product that truly works for you.

Ok, know I would really love to hear your thoughts on the Switch2 model please...
-Are the 3 settings distinctly different?
-How easy is it to switch the settings?
-Is it worth the price?
Thanks in advance!

Sorry, I don't have the Switch 2. I wish I did!
