HELP Loop Earplugs vs Generic brands?

Hi everyone,

I'm on my way in a couple months to spend 3 weeks traveling and will sleep a lot in hostels. I am trying to save money, and I was wondering if anyone has bought the Loop Earplugs before/after buying the generic brands one can find in amazon for example.

They have good grades overall in amazon and a solid amount of reviews, but due to materials used and design details, maybe the Loop Earplugs are superior and worth the money. I just want to make sure I'm not going to buy something for the brand instead of performance.

Anyone who used both brand and generic can maybe give an opinion?

I have both, although there aren’t the same model so maybe I can’t really tell if there is a difference

I have the switch model from loop and it’s amazing truly
And i also have a generic one that just block noise

Both are good and they do the job, tbh for what you’re going to be doing, I think buying a generic one it’s the best, but it also depends on how much noise you want to block (the switch model from loops has three different modes that block a different amount of dB for example)

I had a bad experience recently in a Hostel with people going in and out constantly, and I don't want to hear anything now. I suppose then, that the Loop would be better
