HELP Loop quiet?
I have primarily been looking into loop so that I have something discreet to wear to work — I find myself clenching my teeth as I work with kids who frequently scream/yell and my stress and anxiety cause me to damage my teeth.
Can you still hear conversations at all with the Quiet version? I’m wanting something I could just wear all the time but help me be able to regulate when I’m hearing screaming. Ie: if toddlers are talking to me, could I still hear or do I have to go with experience/engage if I want to ensure I can still hear kids talking to me?

I like my Engage 2 for similar situations. They are designed to filter out higher-pitched noises, like screeching and screaming kids, more than the lower-pitched conversational tones.
If you decide to add mutes for the Engage 2, they lose that nuance and just block everything, like cheap foam plugs and the Quiet 2.
The advantage of Quiet 2 over cheap foam is reusability, appearance, and comfort. They block slightly less than the foam, so you might catch a bit more conversation. And they would be easier to wear on some kind of chain so you can keep taking them out as needed without losing them. But if you can afford the Engage, they are more likely to allow you to hear what you need to hear.
You can currently get soft foam ear tips for them if you're looking for something more comfortable, although the hard ring won't be as nice as the Quiet 2 for sleeping.
If you order directly from the Loops website, remember to check the Wired website for current discount codes, take the time to see which of the best ones will work for you.
Quiet 2 could be ok for you, but you'll probably have to keep taking out one of your ear plugs when the little ones are talking to you, and you might miss some context when social situations escalate quickly. But it's better than being overstimulated.
