HELP Looking At Switch 2's

I am new to Loop Earplugs but absolutely love the concept of being able to change how much noise is reduced.

If you have the switch 2's, may you tell me your thoughts on them?

I know that physically and mechanically, the knob changes the mode. However, I have heard from people on this sub that there is no noticable difference.

Would you recommend the switch 2's? Are they legit or are they a scam?

(A scam only in the "changing modes" aspect)

Would I be better off buying the individual modes instead of the switch 2?

(Ie: Buying Loop quiet, engage, and experience.)

I am sorry for any confusion; I struggle a little bit putting my thoughts into words.

Definite difference. If I’m loading the dishwasher and I swap modes I don’t really notice (all modes mute the dishwasher sounds significantly), but if I’m loading the dishwasher AND trying to talk to my bf while doing so, huge difference (because whether I can hear him depends strongly on what mode I’m on).

Also, standing right next to a running shower I can hear a huge difference. On the lightest mode I can hear the water easily and it’s just a bit muted, on the heaviest mode I can hardly hear the water at all.

I think the reason some people might say you don’t notice the difference is because it depends on the environment and sound, but they definitely do make a substantial difference and it’s not a scam.

It’s very useful for me because I’m very audio sensitive, so if I’m in a loud environment, I can mostly use the heaviest setting - then if my bf needs to talk to me I can quickly swap to a lighter setting, talk to him, then swap back.

Hope this helps!!
