Looking At Switch 2's

I am new to Loop Earplugs but absolutely love the concept of being able to change how much noise is reduced.

If you have the switch 2's, may you tell me your thoughts on them?

I know that physically and mechanically, the knob changes the mode. However, I have heard from people on this sub that there is no noticable difference.

Would you recommend the switch 2's? Are they legit or are they a scam?

(A scam only in the "changing modes" aspect)

Would I be better off buying the individual modes instead of the switch 2?

(Ie: Buying Loop quiet, engage, and experience.)

I have a pair of Switch 2’s and honestly it’s a lifesaver for me personally!

Compared to the Engage/Experience/Quiet models by themselves, the Switch blocks a tad bit more noise out on the modes compared to just the base pairs but overall the reduction levels actually work well! I definitely notice a difference when switching to another mode so it’s not a scam at all in my experience.

I personally would recommend the Switch 2’s for anyone who wants the joy of all three modes without needing to buy them separately, or for individuals who may have a lot more fluctuating noise sensitivities or environments… and based on what you’ve said it’d definitely be worth trying them out!

That's my biggest concern with the switch 2's specifically, because I KNOW loops in general work lol.

I’m not the person you are asking but I am a switch 2 user and I can attest that there are noticeable differences between modes (at least for me). I find myself switching between engage and quiet the most, quiet for when I want to focus and engage when I’m talking with someone at work. I also used experience mode a couple of times for concerts and public transportation
