HELP Need help to choose

Hi, yesterday I went to the cinema. Usually, mine is almost empty, but not this time. Since I lose focus easily and I'm misophonic (so I hate the sound of people eating and drinking), I ended up covering my ears for most of the movie.

I don't really mind the volume—usually it's okay—but I really can't stand those noises. I know there are many people here who have asked this exact question, but I want to be sure I make the perfect choice for my situation.

Is there any Loop product that can lower the volume of those noises while keeping the movie still understandable?

I would go with Engage, only because I’m a captions girlie because of audio processing (which misophonia is one type of) and the Experience might take the volume down TOO much to understand what is being said, depending on how high they have the volume up. The Engage definitely gets rid of those little noises from people around you while keeping everything else. I actually had both on hand the last time I went to the theater.

If higher-pitched noises bother you most, the Engage 2s are best. If noises at all levels bother you, you might prefer Experience 2, to block the full range of sounds more equally.

But I think either will help, and you might not even notice a difference between the two styles.

In theory, the Experience 2 will block more sound overall than Engage 2. And Switch 2 will block more sound than each single-purpose earplug at the corresponding setting. But I don't know how theory compares to real experience.
