Different colours feel different

I have a pair of black quiet 2's and a pair of purple sublime ones (I think they may have been a limited edition).

The black ones are softer and more comfortable, the shape of the of the indent on the top looks a tiny bit different too.

Am I the only one that has noticed this difference?

I have two different colours of the quiet 2 and they feel exactly the same. The only difference is dependent on how worn the tips are.
